Millennialist teachings, International Bible Students & Jehovah's Witnesses
The dominant and central theme of Charles Taze Russell's (the first President of the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society) teachings concerned the timing, nature and purpose of Christ's second coming. His beliefs on the timing of Christ's Advent and God's overarching plan for humans had gained their first exposure in Three Worlds and the Harvest of This World, a book he paid Millerite Adventist Nelson H. Barbour to write in 1877. Russell and Barbour parted company in 1879 and from 1886 Russell began writing his own books that further developed his Millennialist beliefs.
C. T. Russell's doctrines on the Millennium followed a tradition of interpretation of Scripture that had begun in the 1st century, when Jewish rabbis sought to identify the due time for the appearance of the Messiah by interpreting the prophecy of the 70 weeks of years of Daniel 9:24–27. Their approach to prophetic interpretation was based on the Day-year principle, drawn from Ezekiel 4 and Numbers 14, in which one day in prophecy represents one year in fulfillment. Such teachings were revived and popularized in the early 19th century by American Adventist preacher William Miller.
C. T. Russell also incorporated Miller's teaching of types and antitypes, in which an actual historical situation (the type) prefigures a corresponding situation (the antitype), as well as a modified version of John Nelson Darby's teachings on dispensationalism. Russell modified Darby's teachings to create his own doctrine of parallel dispensations, in which the timing of certain events in the Jewish age are a prophetic indication of corresponding events at the close of the Gospel age. He believed the internal harmony of his "plan of the ages" proved its validity beyond reasonable doubt, noting that a change of just one year would destroy the parallelisms, and found further confirmation in internal measurements of the Great Pyramid of Giza, which he viewed as a divinely built supporting witness to the Bible.
The main points of his doctrines on Bible chronology were:
Seventy weeks of years: Russell believed the Adventist interpretation of the prophecy of the 70 weeks "until Messiah the Prince" at Daniel 9:24–27 could be used to demonstrate the validity of the day-for-a-year rule. He took 454 BCE as the date of Artaxerxes' decree to rebuild Jerusalem, and by converting 69 weeks of seven days (483 days) to 483 years arrived at 29 CE as the beginning of Jesus' ministry. Christ's crucifixion took place at the midpoint of the 70th week; the covenant with the Jewish nation remained in force another "week" (seven years) from the beginning of his ministry and its end was signified by the conversion of Cornelius in 36, when the Gospel was taken to the Gentiles.
Times of the Gentiles: Using the day-for-a-year rule, Russell adopted and adjusted the teachings of Miller and Englishman John Aquila Brown, who both taught that the chastisement of the Israelites "seven times" for their sins (at Leviticus 26) indicated a period of 2520 years—seven prophetic years of 360 days each. In Russell's chronology system the period began with the deposing of Zedekiah, the last king of Judah, an event that marked the end of the typical Kingdom of God and beginning of the consequent lease of earthly dominion to Gentile governments, as foretold in Ezekiel 21:25–27. Russell calculated that Zedekiah's removal occurred in 606 BCE, and therefore claimed the "times of the Gentiles" ran from that date until 1914, when the kingdom would be re-established on earth under Jewish leadership. The end of the Gentile times would be marked by a return of the Jews to Palestine. Russell believed the period was also one of degradation for mankind in general, which he believed was prefigured by the account in Daniel 4 of Nebuchadnezzar's dream of a great tree being cut down and restrained from growth for seven years
Let's examine the following quote written by the Watchtower Society concerning the "Gentile Times" as explained by Jesus:

While giving his sign, Jesus spoke of the “seven times,” calling them “the appointed times of the nations.” He said: “Jerusalem will [continue to] be trampled on by the nations, until the appointed times of the nations are fulfilled.” (Luke 21:24) A footnote in the Oxford NIV Scofield Study Bible (1984) tells us that “the ‘times of the Gentiles’ [King James Version rendering of “appointed times of the nations”] began with the captivity of Judah under Nebuchadnezzar. . . . Since that time Jerusalem has been, as Christ said, ‘trampled on by the Gentiles.’”

Did you happen to notice the inserted words of the Watchtower Society above in the bible citation of Luke 21:24?
Did you notice the Watchtower Society brazenly actually adding words to the very words of Jesus? Yes, did Jesus actually say: ". . . Jerusalem will CONTINUE TO . . . CONTINUE TO . . . be trampled on by the nations..." ???
Did he???
Or, did the Watchtower Society conveniently add those words in the verse for us, which? (See Proverbs 30:5-6; Revelation 22:18-19.)
The above is absolute proof the nefarious, villainous Watchtower Society should properly be viewed as the "Man of Lawlessness" of 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12. They are actually adding to the Word of God, right before your very eyes!
Think about it.
Therefore, the "Gentile Times" or "appointed times of the nations" did not start before . . . before Jesus uttered this most important prophecy; it did not start with the toppling of Jerusalem's kingdom under King Zedekiah, hundreds of years before Jesus' ministry. No, but it was a future event that Jesus was referring to. A future event.
Let's examine two verses to prove this point.
Revelation 11:2 and Revelation 13:5-7.
Revelation 11:2
"But as for the courtyard that is outside the temple [sanctuary], cast it clear out and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city underfoot for forty-two months." (NWT)
Also,
Revelation 13:5-7
"And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given it, and authority to act forty-two months was given it. And it opened its mouth and blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name and his residence, even those residing in heaven. And there was granted it to wage war with the holy ones and conquer them, and authority was given it over every tribe and people and tongue and nation." (NWT)
We can see in the above verses, the "Gentile Times" or "appointed times of the nations" that Jesus referred to in Luke 21:24 was pointing to a future event spoken of in the book of Revelation. Jesus was referring to a future time when God's Name People, Mystery "Israel" of our modern-day times, Jehovah's Witnesses in their entirety, would be severely disciplined for acts of wickedness practiced by themselves, fulfilling foretold bible prophecy. (Isaiah 30:26; Jeremiah 23:20; Micah 4:6-7) This specific period of severe discipline would run 42 months or 1,260 days. According to prophecy, only "one-third" of the entire body of Jehovah's Witnesses will survive this ordeal, repent and be saved and given life into God's kingdom. The remaining "two-thirds" who continue to follow the wicked Watchtower Society will be completely destroyed by God at "Armageddon." (See Zechariah 13:8-9; Revelation 16:14-16.)

Question: Do You Know What The Practice of "Gaslighting" or "Gas-Lighting" Is??

Did you know, there is a term called: "Gas-Lighting" the issues from within the mental health profession and community. The term evidently came from a screenplay and later movie produced in the 1940s, starring Ingrid Bergman. (See Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaslighting )
Well it seems, the practice of "gaslighting" or "gas-lighting" has been going on for some time now among Jehovah's Witnesses...at least according to some who have observed this situation, with what the YORWW Congregation might add, a lot of unseen help from the wicked "demons" to help fulfill bible prophecy. -- 1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Timothy 4:3, 4
Let me explain. [The following information will better clarify our understanding of Revelation 18:2, 3 along with other verses associated with this theme.]
What got me thinking about this term "gaslighting" was this thread:
Gaslighting or gas-lighting is a form of mental abuse in which information is twisted/spun, selectively omitted to favor the abuser, or false information is presented with the intent of making victims doubt their own memory, perception and sanity.
Sociopaths frequently use gaslighting tactics. Sociopaths consistently transgress social mores, break laws, and exploit others, but typically, are also charming and convincing liarswho consistently deny wrongdoing. Thus, some who have been victimized by sociopaths may doubt their perceptions.
And later, this comment was made by "Searcher" who said:
As with every cult, the controllers are completely aware of the cult's history, purpose, methods and objectives.
The blindly obedient are so indoctrinated and gullible, that their masters can tell them in black & white that they have to be 100% compliant, even if it doesn't make sense. (w13 11/15 p. 20 par. 17)
Since the indoctrinated are voluntarily following the dictates of a man-made corporation which has convinced them of its "divine choosing" - rather than following the Beroeans example of examining scriptural teachings - that makes every Witness accountable! (Acts 17:11; Romans 14:12)

In other words in summation, if the innocent party or judge of the situation or wrongful act, does not properly REMEMBER THE FACTS and what just happened, the "abuser" [or sociopath] will test that "memory" and make them "doubt" their own perception and/or "sanity" about what just happened, making them think they have judged the whole matter wrongly. This situation described above, is now being appropriately applied to the Governing Body and what they teach all Jehovah's Witnesses who are loyal adherents of the Watchtower Society and company, no matter what.
Which means, to "judge" any matter properly, especially dealing with vile, wicked "tricky" people like the Governing Body, you have to keep your head on straight, or the "abuser" [or sociopath] will trick you, he or she will "gaslight" you, into doubting your own memory of things. Judging humans and/or human behavior, no question, is a very tricky matter. -- See Isaiah 11:3, read and examine very carefully.

Well, let's think about this wicked, vile situation that all Jehovah's Witnesses are faced with today. And why is it, Jehovah's Witnesses world wide simply CAN NOT THINK PROPERLY, as many have noted? We notice, they cannot reason things out for themselves, and cast away the spiritually vile, wicked Governing Body and Watchtower Society, yes why?
THE REAL REASON JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES ACT THE WAY THEY DO TOWARD THEIR LEADERSHIP
Based upon Revelation 18:2, modern-day "Babylon The Great" is to become a "lurking place" for every kind of "UNCLEAN" and "HATED BIRD" or "DEMON." Also, it was foretold "Babylon The Great" was to become the "LURKING PLACE" for every kind of "UNCLEAN EXHALATION" [or the footnote in the Reference Lrg Prt NWT says "UNCLEAN SPIRIT"]. This would have to be a DEMONIC "SPIRIT" or control of things...like someone is "possessed" by demons. This would mean, Babylon The Great and all of its "victims" are "possessed" at this point, by demons. Babylon becomes...becomes this "lurking place" for all of these demons, it says. And this situation has happened because, it gives rise to the "'Anger" of God, now on display. It becomes His Punishment for the Jehovah's Witnesses willingly accepting this terrible situation, that proves to be a horrible spiritual blunder on their part, of going along with this treacherous act committed by the Governing Body and Watchtower Society with the United Nations.
Yes, it was the willing acceptance of the United Nations NGO Affair carried on in secret for some 10 years before the media of this world (Guardian Newspaper of UK) incredibly exposed them, exposing the actual wicked, heinous, spiritual "fornication" that was done "highhandedly" [or with "uplifted hands," See Numbers 15:30 NWT Lrg print footnote] or "deliberately" committed by the Governing Body, that becomes the "Sin and Abhorrent Thing" that the brotherhood of Jehovah's Witnesses have willingly accepted. They (Jehovah's Witnesses) even accepted the "wine of her fornication" or the weak "Library Card Lie" Excuse that the Governing Body gave to them, graphically showing everyone in the world, their non-repentant attitude over this whole affair of "abhorrence." Therefore to survive such a horrendous affair such as this, the Jehovah's Witnesses world wide must now be "washed clean," have "their robes washed clean" of such a dastardly deed, in the eyes of Jehovah & Jesus Christ, just as bible prophecy clearly indicates. -- See Zechariah 13:1; Revelation 7:14; Revelation 12:11; Revelation 22:14.
Think about it!
Therefore, these "UNCLEAN EXHALATIONS" or this "UNCLEAN SPIRIT" that we are now witnessing among all Jehovah's Witnesses, that are evidently from the demons, is what bible prophecy predicts to be the "teachings of Demons" that was prophesied to come in the "last day" teachings like ... the "Overlapping Generation" teaching. The Prediction was actually made by Apostle Paul as shown at 1 Timothy 4:1 and 2 Timothy 4:3, 4. These verses really, show this quite clearly. [Please read.]
So when the bible predicts the "riders of the horses [or publications]" have been struck with "MADNESS" [or insanity...craziness] then, this would be because their explanation of prophecy in the written publications, simply does not make any sense. It is craziness. And this is because, they are all...possessed. You are now witnessing this situation unfold before your very eyes, proving you are living in "the last days" or "later periods of time" that Paul promised was surely to come. We are living in that day now. -- 1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Timothy 4:3, 4; Zechariah 12:4
So then, why don't the Jehovah's Witnesses themselves, just see this and wake up?
Well they can't, at least, not on their own. Remember, they are "possessed" ... "possessed" by "lurking" demons, per Revelation 18:2!
So it seems, then ... when the promised "UPROAR at the Temple" arrives...or when the "1/3 of the Stars are thrown down" by Satan's "Tail" [Governing Body] ... then, and only then...will some of them [Jehovah's Witnesses] "wake up" ... all by the Almighty Hand of God. So, these two (2) events, go together... the "uproar" with the "1/3 stars" being thrown down. -- See Isaiah 66:6; Revelation 12:4.
So then, the "Uproar at the Temple" [Isaiah 66:6] and the "1/3 of the stars" being hurled down by Satan's "Tail" [aka "Governing Body" Revelation 12:4], ... these events, go together.
IDENTIFYING TODAY, THE DEADLY "DRAGNET" FROM WHICH, THERE IS NO ESCAPE!

Thus, if Jehovah's Witnesses are ever to successfully "escape" the wicked "Dragnet" Jehovah's Witnesses Organization, Jehovah, must "wake" them up! He must "wake up" ... The "Male Child" to action! -- See Zechariah 9:13; Isaiah 66:5; Revelation 12:5
Indeed, did not Jesus say:
"KEEP AWAKE, then, all the time making supplication that you may SUCCEED IN ESCAPING ALL THESE THINGS that are destined to occur, and in standing before the Son of Man." -- Luke 21:36
Yes, we must "SUCCEED IN ESCAPING" ... Yes, ESCAPING ... "ALL THESE THINGS" ... as in "escaping" the wicked "Dragnet," Babylon The Great!
(Also compare Revelation 3:3 where Jesus says to "stay awake" to fully escape spiritual defilement.)
Think about it!
Again, notice how Isaiah 66:5 and verse 6 ... go together. The "Birth" of the "Male Child" ... with the "UPROAR at the Temple." Also, the events of Revelation 12:4 & 5 fit together. Plus, Zechariah 9:13-14 fits in quite nicely with this prophecy, along with what's described at 1 Timothy 4:1 and 2 Timothy 4:3, 4, all of which was promised to happen in the "latter periods of time."
Therefore, this has to be viewed as "Demonic Possession" on "James Jack's" part, do you not agree?
So then we must conclude, the "Anger" of Jehovah's Wrath in this case, is justifiably and fully expressed, when He [Jehovah] gives the Jehovah's Witnesses as a people and nation over ... gives them over to "Demonic Possession" as evidenced by the Demonic Teachings we are seeing today, yes that these people have willingly accepted from the hand of the Governing Body and Watchtower Society. And bible prophecy indicates we can expect this to continue...at least up to the promised "UPROAR AT THE TEMPLE" when these same "Possessed" people [which would include JW Reformers or the "Two Witnesses" of Revelation 11:3] ... suddenly "wake up" as the "AWAKENED SONS" [Male Child] of Zechariah 9:13. (Also see Zechariah 9:14 too, which serves to fully identify this group as the promised "Male Child.")
As the prophecy indicates, some "awaken" to fight in the kingdom halls ... like the promised "Two Witnesses" (or JW Reformers) and some "awaken" to leave the JW Organization or "Dragnet," and become the "Male Child" and finally join the YORWW Congregation. But, Zechariah 9:13-15 is talking about specifically...specifically the "Male Child" who is definitely referred to as the "Sons of Zion," who oppose ... opposed the "sons of Greece" [pagans in Jehovah's House, AKA Governing Body] ... the people that ultimately become "boisterous" after "escaping" ... So then, there can be no doubt, these "demonized" Jehovah's Witnesses are nowadays, struggling with "Teachings of Demons" and being "possessed" so that they cannot...cannot RESIST these wicked "teachings" of the Governing Body, which are from "Lurking Demons."
Which means, Revelation 18th chapter and verse 3 shows it is because of the "wine of her fornication" and the "anger" and righteous wrath, that is expressed because of this on God's part, that brings about this horrible condition at the kingdom halls around the world, that we are presently witnessing. Shocking indeed!
So then, Revelation 18:3, shows us then, it is because of the "Wine of THE ANGER [of God] of her fornication" that has caused...caused this horrible situation of "Demonic Possession" for all Jehovah's Witnesses around the world. Yes, the "Anger" that comes from Jehovah God, whereby all...and that's ALL the "nations have fallen victim" as the verse says ... becomes "victim" to this "WINE" or Library Card "LIE" that surrounds the Horrible NGO Situation in Babylon The Great, that the brothers/Sisters have willingly accepted. Even the "kings" [Traveling Overseers] have agreed to go along with this horrible hidden, "leaven" or "fornication" situation, that even Jesus promised was coming. The NGO Situation...is that horrible "leaven" that Jesus said was coming upon God's Name People. -- Please compare Zechariah 5:5-11 with Matthew 13:33.
And, all of this is shown in verses 2 and 3 of Revelation 18th chapter.
Think about it!
There can be no question, the Watchtower Society = The Promised, wicked "Dragnet" [that holds people in complete slavery/captivity without escape being possible] that Jesus said was coming in Matthew 13:47-50.
Think about it, again!
Is it any wonder, Michael himself, along with all of his holy angels will have to battle fiercely, Satan and his demon angels for the final "casting out" of Satan upon these "demonic" people, Jehovah's Witnesses. (John 12:31) Yes, Satan must be exorcised from the Jehovah's Witnesses, first. This must be done by Michael (under Jehovah's direction) for the actual saving of the mental-sanity and mental-stability, of these hapless, helpless "demonic-possessed" Jehovah's Witnesses, before ... before they can be freed to become the foretold "Male Child" of Bible prophecy, free to worship Jehovah in righteousness, away from the wicked Watchtower Society. Is The Governing Body Arrangement A Scriptural One?
A GOVERNING BODY???
At Matthew 24:45-47 we read the following, using the New World Translation:
"Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? Happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so. Truly I say to you, He will appoint him over all his belongings".
The Watch Tower Society has long taught for many years that the “Faithful Slave” of Matthew 24:45-47 represents the anointed remnant as a composite group upon earth. At this writing, they (anointed remnant) numbering slightly more than 21,000 (as of 2022) earth-wide. This viewpoint was held among Jehovah's Witnesses up to the year of 2013. After that, in 2013, Jehovah's Witnesses were instructed that actually the Governing Body and the "Faithful Slave were one and the same entity. The new viewpoint would advance the idea the "Faithful Slave" would be comprised only, those members of the chosen Governing Body, and those individuals who have unique access and privileges of controlling and disseminating the Watchtower Society's written publications. This is the new definition of the "Faithful and discreet Slave" of Matthew 24:45-47, as of the year of 2013.
However, we cannot help but notice and remember, that the small membership who supposedly made up the “anointed remnant,” for all of those years prior to 2013, did not ever make any decisions for the JW Organization or give any direction at all. No, in fact, the JW Organization back then, was still controlled by a small group of “professed” anointed Christians known as the “Governing Body,” since January 1st, 1976. (Before then, it was controlled by the Corporate President of the Watchtower Society.) Since 1976, it was claimed that the Governing Body arrangement itself, (fully empowered in December 4th, 1975 and where it was divided up into six committees of authority in January of 1976), was an arrangement that more fully harmonizes with so-called Governing Body arrangements among 1st century Christians. But, is that really the case? Let us make an examination of this matter.
AN EXAMINATION OF THE MATTER OF WHETHER THE GOVERNING BODY EXISTED IN THE FIRST CENTURY
It is true that Jesus appointed twelve apostles who had equal authority among his disciples. Later, other apostles were appointed or recognized as such namely Paul, Barnabas, and James the half-brother of Jesus. (See Insight on the Scriptures, Vol. 1. Pg. 1, 252, par. 3; Acts 14:14; Galatians 1:19; 2:9.) However, the scriptures clearly teach that the “apostles” had authority over the congregation and NOT a so-called “Governing Body” arrangement. In fact, the expression ‘Governing Body’ is nowhere to be found anywhere in the Bible. We remember, Jesus appointed an ‘apostolic’ arrangement and not a ‘Governing Body’ arrangement. This thought is confirmed when we examine 1 Corinthians 12:28. Notice the order of authority established in the congregation.
“And God has set the respective ones in the congregation, FIRST, apostles; second, prophets; third, teachers; then powerful works; then gifts of healings; helpful services, abilities to direct, different tongues. Not all are apostles, are they? Not all are prophets, are they? Not all are teachers, are they? Not all perform powerful works, do they?”
Also, Ephesians 4:11-16 where it states in part:
“And he gave some as APOSTLES, some as prophets, some as evangelizers, some as shepherds and teachers, with a view to the readjustment of the holy ones, for ministerial work, for the building up of the body of the Christ…”
Yes, in both instances, the “apostles” are listed FIRST in order and rank as far as congregational authority is concerned. An apostle could establish congregational procedures and methods. (1 Corinthians 4:17; 7:12) Individually, apostles could issue commands and orders to traveling overseers and congregational members to better expedite important matters. (Acts 17:14, 15; 1 Corinthians 16:1; Titus 1:5) AN apostle could even confer the authority to ‘command’ upon other responsible individuals. (1 Timothy 1:3; Titus 2:15) An apostle singularly, could even expel unruly individuals from the congregation! --- Compare 1 Corinthians 5:5 with 1 Timothy 1:20.
Most Bible students will agree that the “apostles” really had authority in the initial stages of the forming of the congregation, but what about later? For example, around 49 CE when the issue of circumcision surfaced, isn’t it true that the Bible says Paul and Barnabas traveled to the apostles AND older men in Jerusalem regarding this dispute? This is a very interesting question. Let us examine it scripturally.
THE CIRCUMCISION ISSUE
The Watchtower magazine admits this important point:
“The Bible provides only limited details about the composition of the early governing body, most of the information being in Acts chapter 15. That account indicates that in 49 CE the group of men forming the governing body consisted of “the apostles and older men in Jerusalem. Who were these?” (Watchtower, 12/1/85, pg. 31, par. 2, under “Questions From Readers”)
Also the Watchtower magazine makes this comment:
"The Christian congregation or the 'faithful and discreet slave' class started out on Pentecost of 33 CE with twelve members on its governing body, and that governing body located at Jerusalem was increased from the twelve apostles of Christ to include other elders of the Jerusalem congregation. So the governing body at that vital Jerusalem council included the eleven surviving apostles of Christ, and the disciple James who seems to have been chairman for the occasion, also Judas (Barsabbas) and Silas as leading men among the brothers, yes, prophets, and doubtless Paul and Barnabas. That means at least sixteen anointed Christians associated with the governing body back there at Jerusalem..." (See Watchtower, 12/15/71, pg. 759, par. 2)
(Silas is an unfortunate choice as a member of the so-called governing body since at Acts 17:14,15 Paul gives him a "command." Clearly Silas was an assistant to Paul as Timothy, Titus and Luke were. Silas (Silvanus) was also the penman or secretary for Peter in writing the letter of 1 Peter. --- See new All Scripture Inspired of God and Beneficial pg. 254, par.2.)
Yes, in the first century the so-called governing body was comprised of sixteen members. If you look at the picture on page 686 of the November 15, 1971, Watchtower magazine, you will be able to count sixteen men who made up the so-called first century governing body. However, let us notice this comment at Acts 15.5:
"Yet, some of those of the sect of the Pharisees that had believed rose up from their seats and said: 'It is necessary to circumcise them and charge them to observe the law of Moses.'"
Yes, there were more people in attendance than those 16 men, namely those (formerly) of the 'sect of the Pharisees that believed.'
But someone may say,
"If you read the next verse (vs. 6), you will see that the apostles and older men gathered together AFTER that initial meeting to make 'their' (governing body) decision, and during this meeting oly the apostles and the older men were present."
However, if that were the case, then why does the account say, after Peter speaks (vs. 7-11), the following:
"THE ENTIRE MULTITUDE became silent."
That would mean 16 men would constitute the "entire multitude" since no one else would be present as members of the governing body, right??? There must have been someone else present! Also, why did Peter say in verse 10:
"Why are YOU making a test of God by imposing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke that neither our forefathers nor we were capable of bearing?"
Was Peter saying that the so-called GOVERNING BODY was ‘making a test of God by IMPOSING upon the neck of the disciples a yoke?’ Of course not! Clearly, Peter was referring to those earlier mentioned in verse 5 namely, those formerly of the ‘sect of the Pharisees who believed.’ that were attempting to force circumcision upon the brethren! These unspiritual men would not listen to what Paul and Barnabas had to say until after Peter (the leading apostle) spoke up! (Compare Acts 15:3-5 with verse 12.) These men were present at this meeting! This was no “Governing Body” decision because James freely gives his ‘decision’ (or opinion) as a matter of public record before an open forum. --- Verse 19.
Therefore, who came to “unanimous accord” (vv.25) in deciding this matter? Let us notice verse 22 which says:
“Then the apostles and the older men TOGETHER WITH THE WHOLE CONGREGATION favored sending chosen men from among them to Antioch along with Paul and Barnabas…”
Yes, the whole congregation participated in this decision! But why would everybody need to be included in this decision??? Notice verse 24:
“Since we have heard that some from among us have caused you trouble with speeches, trying to subvert your souls, although we did not give them any instructions…”
Yes, some from ‘among us’--- Judeans from Jerusalem’s locale were teaching this subversion! It was necessary to settle the problem at Jerusalem since here is where it all started! They were the ones that had the problem and not those of Antioch! Notice verse 1:
“And certain men came down from JUDEA and began to teach the brothers: ‘Unless you get circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.’”
Yes, the issue had to be settled in Judea or Jerusalem! Further, how was the letter addressed? Notice this in verse 23:
“The apostles and the older men, BROTHERS, to those brothers in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia who are from the nations…”
Yes, the letter came from (1) the apostles, (2) older men; and (3) brothers (from Jerusalem). And that is the way the brothers of Antioch understood it. They understood that this letter was coming from all the brothers in Jerusalem and not a so-called governing body. The brothers in Antioch were concerned about keeping UNITY and ‘oneness of thought’ among the whole association of brothers. Yes, we should all think in agreement regardless of where we live. Is this not the way we should understand important matters that affect our international brotherhood today? Think about it. --- See 1 Corinthians 1:10; 2 Corinthians 13:11; Ephesians 4:3, 13.
THE GOD ORDAINED AUTHORITY IN THE FIRST CENTURY CONGREGATION
The real authority as it was well known back in the first century was not in being a member of the so-called governing body. No, but ambitious individuals who were anxious for prominence and authority sought to be APOSTLES! That is where the real authority was. That is why we read so much about "superfine apostles" and "false apostles." --- See 2 Corinthians 11:5, 13; Revelation 2:2.
The Watch Tower Society made a very interesting comment concerning the role of the apostles acting as a "restraint" in the first century. Notice this comment:
"During their lifetime the apostles' presence served as a restraint upon the influences of apostasy, holding back the forces of false worship within the Christian congregation. It is evidently to this "restraint" that the apostle Paul referred at 2 Thessalonians 2:7:
'True, the mystery of this lawlessness is already at work; but only till he who is right now acting as a restraint gets to be out of the way.' This apostolic influence, including the authority and powers unique with them, continued until the death of JOHN about 100 C.E. The rapid influx of apostasy and false doctrine and practices after the death of the apostles shows that any pretended apostolic successors had none of the restraining influence of the apostles." (See Insight on the Scriptures, Vol. 1, pg. 130, par. 4.)
Yes, the apostles had the authority and power of 'restraint' in the congregations. There was no 'governing body' because, as stated by the Watch Tower Society, John, the last apostle was the "restraint" that held back the apostates. Thus, when John died, the "restraint" was gone. If there were a 'governing body' functioning in the first century while John was imprisoned, it could have acted as a "restraint," in the absence of John, right??? Yes, the "Governing Body" could have acted the part of the "restraint." Had the "Governing Body" also gone bad by the time John was on the Island of Patmos? Well, if that were the case, then John himself would have to 'restrain' the evil influence of the "Governing Body," a body of which he was supposed to be a part? Can we not see this is actually a silly notion, namely, that there existed in the first century a "Governing Body?" Yes, John no doubt could have acted the part of a "restraint", using his authority as an "apostle," and not as a member of a so-called "Governing Body!" No such arrangement existed in the first century at all. Think about it.
The apostles had the authority and not a governing body. It was only after his death, as history tells us, that men began to think of how they could 'govern' the flock of God by a group or 'council' of Bishops, elders, etc. It was in this unwholesome environment that the Nicean Council gave birth to the blasphemous doctrine of the trinity.
GOVERNING BODY MUCH LIKE THE "SANHEDRIN" OF JESUS' DAY
Therefore, we can see scripturally, that the so-called "Governing Body" arrangement, which is so strictly adhered to and viewed reverently by over 8 million Jehovah's Witnesses today, is actually a farce, a ruse. It is actually an illegal arrangement that can not be truthfully established within the pages of God's Word the Bible. This particular arrangement has held God's people in captivity and slavery for many years now. The present-day "Governing Body" arrangement is quite like the unscriptural arrangement that governed the Jews when Jesus walked the earth, yes, the "Sanhedrin." As we recall, the "Sanhedrin" was a "council" made up of 71 men. The "High Priest" officiated as it's leader.
The Sanhedrin was made up of Pharisees, Sadduccees, and members of other political factions of the nation. We realize that, scripturally-speaking, this particular arrangement had no validity what-so-ever. It was also an illegal arrangement since Jehovah God never authorized it in His Law Covenant. It was this unscriptural arrangement, the Sanhedrin, that served the Devils' interests of putting Jesus on trial, providing false witnesses to bring accusations against Jesus, and finally, passing the death sentence upon him and pressuring Pontius Pilate to execute an innocent man. Jehovah's Witnesses today, in like fashion, find themselves under the control of another unscriptural arrangement that is just as oppressive, and just as satanic. It is the present day arrangement of the so-called "Governing Body."
Think about it.

Among so many problems that have plagued Jehovah's Witnesses over the many years, one of them has been the problem of finding an appropriate, suitable marriage mate. This has always been an acute problem for Jehovah's Witnesses themselves, since there has been such a small amount of God's Name People that have been collected over the years upon the earth, to serve God. The reason for this nation of Jehovah's Witnesses being so small is actually, not God's fault, but actually the leaders of this nation's fault. This means, the "sheep" have always been here on earth, but the Watchtower Society failed as leaders and teachers of God's Word, teaching such falsehoods as the 1914 lie, the falsehood of the "anointed" being among God's Name People today, and the Watchtower Society being the Faithful and Discreet Slave of our times. In addition to this wickedness on the Watchtower Society part, then too, we know the Watchtower Society has also FAILED to keep the congregations clean before God, so that Jehovah could bless the organization with SERIOUS GROWTH. However, at the advent of Jehovah's Great Day, Jehovah God will solve this problem, once and for all. The article below purposes to show exactly how Jehovah God will solve such a problem among His Own Name People.

Jeremiah 31:38-40 speaks of the future growth of "New Jerusalem",
"Look! There are days coming, is the utterance of Jehovah and the city will certainly be built to Jehovah from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. And the line for measurement will yet actually go forth straight ahead to the hill of Gareb, and it will certainly go around to Goah. And all the low plain of the carcasses and of the fatty ashes, and all the terraces as far as the torrent valley of Kidron, clear to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the sunrising, will be something holy to Jehovah. It will not be uprooted, neither will it be torn down anymore to time indefinite."
Yes, as mentioned Jerusalem will become a Giant City, with its city boundaries, being greatly expanded, extended outwards to encompass a vast land area...it becomes a Great City in itself. Actually, Jehovah's Witnesses now, to the world, is a very INSIGNIFICANT Group of people. They are quite small with only 6 million members, for the length of time they have been in existence. Actually, the Mormon religion have exceeded the growth of Jehovah's Witnesses, greatly, with more than 10 Million members, in recent years. But Jehovah does NOT intent for our nation of worshippers to stay "insignificant" so far as the peoples of the world is concerned. No, He does not. Jeremiah 30:19 says,
"And from them there will certainly go forth thanksgiving, and the sound of those who are laughing. And I will multiply them, and they will not become few; and I WILL MAKE THEM HEAVY IN NUMBER, AND I THEY WILL NOT BECOME INSIGNIFICANT."
So we can see, as mentioned above, God's People, will one day become "heavy in number," so much so that the world will begin to notice this. Yes, even though it starts out as a "tiny mustard seed," but eventually and miraculously, it becomes a Giant "Plant" or Cedar Tree. Just as Ezekiel 17:24 says,
"And all the trees of the field will have to know that I myself, Jehovah have abased the high tree, have put on high the low tree, have dried up the still-moist tree and have made the dry tree blossom. I myself, Jehovah have spoken and have done it."
Yes, as mentioned above, the "all the trees of the field will have to know," that Jehovah God has indeed, done this great thing. They will know then, that Jehovah God has caused this great growth for his people. And everyone, all religions of the world, as pictured by these "trees of the field," will take note of what Jehovah God has done.
But as mentioned one of the things that will have to be established among Jehovah's People, will be spiritual cleanness. Spiritual "Cleanness" for Spiritual Growth itself. Yes, the Modern Day Servant, as the Anointed "Seed" among them, will provide the nation with the needed leadership and guidance for real spiritual growth. (Genesis 22:18; Psalms 89:20) He will completely refine the nation itself, to reflect his "image" or likeness. Malachi 3:2-4 speaks of him and his role to fully "cleanse" the nation itself, by saying,
"But who will be putting up with the day of his coming, and who will be the one standing when he appears? For he will be like the fire of a refiner and like the lye [soap] of a laundrymen. And he must sit as a refiner and cleanser of silver and must cleanse the sons of Levi; and he must clarify them like gold and like silver, and they will certainly become to Jehovah people presenting a gift offering in righteousness. And the gift offering of Judah and of Jerusalem will actually be gratifying to Jehovah, as in the days of long ago and as in the years of antiquity."
Actually, we see above that it mentions when the "Messenger of the Covenant" comes, then "who will be the one standing when he appears," ... meaning, who will have gained a clean "standing" or an approved "standing" with God, when he arrives for the national "refinement" process. Or, who will be able to "stand" with God's approval, before he comes. And it mentions, "who will be putting up with the day of his coming," meaning, it will not be an easy thing to "put up" with some of the things that he will teach at that time. It will understandably be quite difficult for many of the "Male Child" to humble themselves and submit to the teachings of the Modern Day "Servant" during their DAY OF CLEANSING before God. But the bible does indicate that the "Male Child" will in fact submit, to this great national "cleansing" and "refining" process, so that their "gift offering" will be greatly gratifying to Jehovah, finally.
One of the more difficult areas of concern to the Modern Day "Servant" of our time, will be the Marital Status of all Jehovah's Witnesses worldwide. With that thought in mind, a New "Law" will be enacted to help Jehovah's Witnesses to keep on the "narrow" path, so far as marriages and divorces will be concerned. (Matthew 7:13, 14) This will be a new experience for them, as it will serve to "cleanse" them as a people, and "clarify" them as a nation before Jehovah God. It will help them get the mind of Jehovah on this matter, once and for all. This way, the nation will be washed up, like with "lye" soap itself. So that afterwards, their "gift" offerings to Jehovah will be greatly "gratifying" to Him, finally. -- Malachi 3:2-4
THE "RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS" FORETOLD BY JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF
On the subject of marriage and divorce, below Jesus Christ mentions something that has been overlooked by the nation of Jehovah's Witnesses themselves...a requirement that needs to be enacted so that the nation can be "clarified" before God, and completely "cleansed" as a people for God's Name, a people "delivered from every sort of lawlessness and cleansed for" fine works. -- Titus 2:14
Luke 18:29, 30 shows this vital point:
"He said to them: Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God who will not in any way get many times more in this period of time, and in the coming system of things everlasting life."
Similarly, at Matthew 19:28, 29 we recall Jesus said,
"Jesus said to them: Truly I say to you, in the re-creation, when the Son of man sits down upon his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also yourselves sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone that has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for the sake of my name will receive many times more and will inherit everlasting. life."
Then too at Mark 10:29, 30 Jesus is recorded to have said,
"Jesus said: Truly I say to you men, no one has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for my sake and for the sake of the good news who will not get a hundredfold now in this period of time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, with persecutions, and in the coming system of things everlasting life."
Above, we note Matthew 19:26-30, Mark 10:27-30, and Luke 18:27-30 are all bible accounts relating the same incident, where Jesus makes his point above. However, we note in Luke's account of this incident, he specifically mentions one who has "left his wife" as being one who would find a replacement for this "wife" [or husband] specifically "in this period of time", the "period of time" called the "re-creation" or "palingenesis" or "rebirth" of the nation of Israel. It would be during this time that the individual would leave all things behind, during the time of spiritual "restoration of all things," under the leadership of "Elijah" while Jesus and his apostles are IN HEAVEN, "judging the twelve tribes of Israel" on earth. -- See Matthew 17:10, 11; Matthew 19:28
Indeed, Acts 3:19-21 speaks of this great day of spiritual "restoration," this way:
"Repent, therefore, and turn around so as to get your sins blotted out, that seasons of refreshing may come from the person of Jehovah and that he may send forth the Christ appointed for you, Jesus whom HEAVEN, INDEED, MUST HOLD WITHIN ITSELF until the times of RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS of which God spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets of old time."
Yes, did you notice the verse says, "heaven, must hold" Jesus "within itself," yes until spiritual "restoration of all things" is complete? Did you notice this?
And this is during the time that the Special Prophet of God is present, upon earth, carrying out his Special Ministry to "restore all things," as promised by Jesus to occur at the hands of the coming of "Elijah," or the "prophet" who is very much like Moses. Acts 3:22, 23 continues this thought by saying,
"In fact, Moses said, Jehovah God will raise up for you from among your brothers a prophet LIKE ME. You must listen to him according to all the things he speaks to you. Indeed, any soul that does not listen to that Prophet will be completely destroyed from among the people."
Yes, this "Prophet" who is most like Moses spoken of above, would be the same one foretold to come we know as the one called "Elijah," again the one that Jesus said would also "restore all things." However, in this instance, he is simply referred to as the "Prophet" who is most like Moses. Yes, he becomes the one who comes with a "covenant," like Moses. And since he is shown to be the Last Prophet that God will send to Israel, then God's Name People, must pay STRICT HEED to everything, yes everything he says, as Jehovah is not going to send another prophet to the nation of Israel, after this time. Therefore, anyone who does NOT strictly listen to the voice of this Last Prophet that God sends, will be as the verse says, "completely destroyed from among the people," in Gehenna or the Lake of fire, everlastingly. Think about it. -- Please compare Isaiah 49:8; Malachi 4:5, 6; Matthew 17:10, 11; Acts 3:22, 23.
Therefore, this spiritual "restoration of all things" under the leadership of the foretold coming of the "Prophet" most like Moses, then must first be fully accomplished during the period we call the "re-creation" itself of Matthew 19:28. And all of this occurs before, before the "coming system of things" or the 1,000 year reign of peace occurs, where the servant of God finally gains "everlasting life," as Jesus said. Think about it.
But we may be wondering, what did he mean by saying this?
Well, actually Jesus meant that BEFORE the millenial reign of peace on earth, during the "re-creation" or "rebirth," or "palingenesis" restoration period, when Jesus and his apostles were sitting upon thrones IN HEAVEN, yes in heaven, actually "judging the 12 tribes of Israel," during that particular period of time, many of God's Name People, would LEAVE BEHIND, fathers, mothers, children, and yes, even "wives" or husbands, and would in turn "INHERIT" many times more, other fathers, other mothers, other children, and OTHER WIVES OR HUSBANDS too. Oh yes, this is exactly what Jesus meant by those words. -- See Luke 22:30.
As you recall, Matthew 19:16-30 uniquely includes the information about Jesus being in heaven, with the apostles, "sitting upon thrones," while they are "judging" the 12 Tribes of Israel, who were experiencing a "palingenesis" or spiritual "rebirth" on earth. And all of this would be going on "during that period of time," before the "coming system of things" was to occur, when the awarding of "everlasting life" was to be given out to the servant of God. -- Matthew 19:28
All of this means then, that before God's new system of things gets started, before the 1,000 year reign of peace gets started, a "New Law" of God, is to come into being. And included in that New "Law", will be special stipulations concerning marriage and divorce that will be enacted. That is why the special provision is mentioned in Luke's account about a man "leaving his wife" and receiving another one, during "this period of time," as Jesus mentioned. Although this seems quite shocking in itself...Let's review what Jesus actually said here.
JESUS FORETOLD THE COMING OF A NEW LAW ON MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE!
Luke 18:29, 30 shows us one very vital point that bears heavily, yes, mightily on this discussion:
"He said to them: Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house OR WIFE or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God who will not in any way get many times more in this period of time, and in the coming system of things everlasting life."
Jesus specifically points out above, that servants of Jehovah will have to leave behind many things -- even possibly a marriage mate such as a "wife" or "husband," yes, before they can properly "enter the kingdom of God." Did you notice this? Yes, they actually do this, as Jesus said, "for the sake of the Kingdom of God." Indeed, we remember Jesus once said of the sacrifices that one must make to finally enter into the Kingdom of God by saying:
Luke 14:26 says this also,
"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother AND WIFE and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own soul, he cannot be my disciple."
In the above verse, Jesus shows that all servants of God, would at one vital, crucial time, have to demonstrate that all family ties are to be considered of lesser importance to them, than their personal tie-in or relationship with Jehovah God. In fact, they would have to, in many instances, even "disown" themselves personally, in many ways, to enter the Kingdom of God itself. In fact, they may have to "pluck out" something as dear to them, as an "eye" or "cut off" something as dear to them, as a "hand" or a "foot." They will do this, to enter into, as Jesus said, the "Kingdom of God." They do this, so that they "do not stumble" over this dear thing, like a precious "eye," "hand," or "foot." For as Jesus said,
"And if ever your hand makes you stumble, cut it off; it is finer for you to enter into life maimed than with two hands to go off into Gehenna into the fire that cannot be put out. And if your foot makes you stumble, cut it off; it is finer for you to enter into life lame than with two feet to be pitched into Gehenna. And if your eye makes you stumble, throw it away; it is finer for you to enter one-eyed into the kingdom of God than with two eyes to be pitched into Gehenna, where their maggot does not die and the fire is not put out." -- Mark 9:43-48
So Jesus' point here was that something that could be very dear to us, could potentially "stumble" us and cause us to lose out on life all together. We would be destined for "Gehenna," or the "lake of fire," if we allowed ourselves to be "stumbled" by something as dear to us as an "eye," or "hand," or "foot."
Actually, family members themselves, our family, our children, even our marital mate, could be viewed as dear to us, as an "eye," or a "hand" or a "foot". These individuals have become over the years, very, very dear to us. But, what if our marriage mate, who was at the time NOT one of Jehovah's Witnesses, decided that he did NOT want to serve Jehovah God, and had demonstrated this over a period of years during your marriage to them, what then? In such an instance, if they refused, over the years that you were married to them, to heed Jehovah God's direction to willingly serve and dedicate their lives to Him, and you stand poised to finally enter into the "kingdom of God" on earth, yes, ... what would you do? How would you react to such a situation?
Well, needless to say, this would not be an easy decision for many from among Jehovah's Witnesses, to make during such a critical time, as regards what should they do. Obviously, such a situation, could lead to marital problems, especially if we perceive that Jehovah God, expects a reaction from us, if our marriage mates have personally decided to NOT serve Him and dedicate their lives to Him over the years that you have been married to them. This becomes a big problem, since they have utterly refused this unique offer from God Almighty Himself, to serve Him as a dedicated worshipper of His. Yes, Jehovah God would expect something from us, would he not?
Well, believe it or not, such a situation is going to face us all as Jehovah's Witnesses, and with that unique situation, will come a NEW "LAW" for all of God's Name People, then, which will be enacted to protect "New Jerusalem", God's earthly government, all from the insidious influences of Satan the Devil, and his crafty acts to dissolve the effectiveness of God's Kingdom, as newly established upon earth, with the birth of the "Male Child" and the fast approach of the 200 Million For God's Name. -- Revelation 9:13-21
Therefore, with this thought in mind, then we can see how this New Law Covenant we call the "Scapegoat Law," or "Law of the Servant" would take on a special meaning, a distinctive meaning, where it would be distinguished as having features that would be very distinctive and very different for times that we are living in. And one such area would be marriage and divorce. The "Law of Moses" would take on a distinctive meaning for its time. The "Law of Christ," would do the same, and the "Law of the Servant" would also do the same thing, the "Scapegoat Law" itself.
"He will not grow dim nor be crushed until he sets justice in the earth itself; and for HIS LAW the islands themselves will keep waiting." -- Isaiah 42:4
"His Law," mentioned above, actually represents the "Law of the Servant," or the "Scapegoat Law," that will be in effect, when the Kingdom of God is born on earth, joined with the 200 million.
But why would Jehovah God authorize such a thing? A new provision on marriage and divorce?
This is because of His original promise in the Garden of Eden, found at Genesis 3:15 which shows the following:
"I will put enmity between your seed and her seed."
Yes, Jehovah promised that there was to be great "enmity" between the "seed of Satan," and the "Seed of Eve," or the "Seed of Abraham". And who today, is primarily that "seed"? Well, it would be the Modern Day Servant himself, but also it would include in a secondary sense, the "Male Child" too. These individuals would constitute the "Kingdom of God" before the whole earth....the "Seed of Abraham." Yes, they become, a special people, a special property for Jehovah God...a nation of "Kings and Priests". -- Exodus 19:5 ,6; Malachi 3:17
So then, all these individuals, all Jehovah's Witnesses, the entire nation will rightfully be viewed by Jehovah God as "Priests". A Priestly Nation, a "Kingdom of Priests" themselves. (Rev. 5:9, 10) And as you recall, there were special "laws" and provisions that Jehovah God has prescribed for his "Priestly" Family. And one of those Laws has to do with, WHOM THEY ARE MARRIED TO. For example we can examine Ezekiel 44:22 for some of those specific law regulations that governed "Priests" and who they were to marry.
And so, special considerations will have to be given toward this matter, and Jehovah's witnesses themselves, and their marriages when the Male Child is born, and even before. Yes, at that time, a "New Law" will have to be given out, as respects marriages and divorces, and what will be scripturally acceptable. And this would be scripturally apropos, fully to be expected since we know at that time, the Christian Law or the "Law of Christ," will have been fulfilled by the Modern Day "Servant." That "Law Covenant" will have been "fulfilled," just as Jesus "fulfilled" the Mosaic Law of his time. -- Galatians 6:2
So then, the Christian Law, or "Law of Christ", then will be gone...it will be considered over, in God's eyes, and would have fully served its purpose to actually produce the Anointed Seed for the Nation of Israel, as purposed by God Almighty Himself. Just as the Mosaic Law produced for God, the "Anointed Seed" who was uniquely qualified to fulfill the terms of the Law of Moses perfectly, and became its "capstone". Therefore, in the same way, the Modern Day "Servant" then acts as a "capstone," or "topstone" in that he is the Final Stone in the spiritual building that Christ founded. Just as Christ himself was the "Capstone", "Topstone" or the Final Stone, of the Mosaic Law, where he "fulfilled" it, and as Moses himself Founded it, or was the foundation stone of the Mosaic Law itself. -- Isaiah 28:16; Zechariah 4:7
However, we must remember, that indeed that "Christian Law" itself, was quite appropriate for the times that we lived in. Yes, for the past 2,000 years. But with the advent of the "Male Child" Kingdom Government Arrangement established UPON EARTH, in fulfillment of Matthew 6:10, then will come the great need for an acute division to be made between God's Name People (the Kingdom of God, "New Jerusalem") and those who are ON SATAN'S SIDE as the "Seed of the Devil", at that time. Actually Revelation 22:15, actually shows that "New Jerusalem" will exist, while the filthy "dogs, and those who practice spiritism, and the fornicators and the murderers," will all be KEPT OUTSIDE of those "walls" of New Jerusalem. But even so, New Jerusalem will exist, ALL THE WHILE, these Satanic Forces are ever present, seeking to find a way to enter into the Earthly Kingdom of God, which will be there right before their very eyes. Yes, the magnificent Mountain of Decoration, will be there right before all eyes, as "New Jerusalem", God's Glorified Temple Arrangement of the book of Revelation. But, all of the unsavory characters of Satan's "Seed", will be locked out of those "gates" of God's Visible Kingdom Arrangement, which exists upon earth for all to see. -- Daniel 11:45; Revelation 22:15
As far as the question of Marriage and Divorce is concerned, God has purposed for us to have New "Laws" that will govern such a Divine Institution, as we adjust to the differing times we live in. At this time, the "Law of Christ," then appropriately, will cease to exist at that time wherein God's Name People will now be expected to conform to a New Law structure, one that suits God's Eternal Kingdom for the earth, much better with His Kingdom being established upon earth.
What this means, is that, when the "Male Child" are upon the world scene, a great "cleansing" process must begin. A "cleansing" process that will prove to be very similar to what happened the Israelite nation as revealed within the contents of Ezra 9:1 thru Ezra 10:4. These verses show us the "holy seed" of Israel had been "corrupted" during Ezra's day, due to unholy marriage alliances that had taken place, where Israelites had become married to nonworshippers of Jehovah...an overt act of unfaithfulness in God's eyes. Yes, a "great guiltiness" on the nation of Israel's part. Needless to say, this proved to be, no doubt, something that was very displeasing to Jehovah Himself. Therefore, before this Great "Unfaithfulness" on the nation's part could be atoned for, all such unholy alliances, all such unholy marriages understandably, had to be dissolved, to fully restore Jehovah's favor, blessings and goodwill to the nation again.
Similarly, in our day, a powerful act of "restoration" or "regeneration" must be enacted again in behalf of the "Male Child" Kingdom Government, so that the "gift offering" of the Spiritual Nation could be again considered acceptable, yes "gratifying" to Jehovah God in our modern day and times. -- Ezra 9:2, 7; Nehemiah 1:7; Malachi 3:3, 4
A SPECIAL "CLEANSING" PROCESS FOR THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED "MALE CHILD" NATION
When the "Male Child" is formed, as a "land" formed "in one day," one thing will become quite apparent -- many will stand before the Modern Day "Servant," alone as servants of God, minus their respective marriage mates. (Isaiah 66:8) Also, it will also become apparent that many of those mates are actually, nonworshippers of Jehovah God. In addition, there will be others who stand alone, who at that time, will be married to active Jehovah's Witnesses or nonactive or even ex-Jehovah's Witnesses. No matter what the case, these individuals will not want to be a part of the "Male Child" Government, which follows the heed and direction of the Modern Day "Servant" of God's Choosing. These will be the ones who will NOT accept the "E-Scapegoat Covenant" Arrangement from God, as a "means to saving" themselves from God's Fierce Wrath to come upon all would continually disobey Him. -- See Jeremiah 23:19, 20; Luke 21:22, 23; Acts 28:28.
In addition, these Jehovah's Witnesses who will continue to carry on their lives all as before, will not see themselves in a dangerous position, in that they are now viewed by Jehovah as being under a "curse," for being a part of a nation that has violated its national Covenant Arrangement with Him...the one mediated by Jesus Christ himself. These ones will not want to see the Modern Day "Servant" of our times, as a "guilt offering" given them by Jehovah God Himself, to make "atonement" for their "sins" in violating God's Covenant. -- Galatians 3:10; Isaiah 53:10; Daniel 11:30
In all such cases, these "marriages" will have to be dissolved ... immediately. This is done to maintain "sanctity" and cleanliness in the marital arrangement before God. It will be at that time, just as Jesus said,
"For everyone must be salted with fire." -- Mark 9:49
Yes, "everyone" at that time, will be "salted with fire," the fire of test, to prove ourselves, and the level of faith that we truly possess, toward serving Jehovah and to become fully pleasing to Him at that time. No doubt with the result of so many divorces and the breakup of so many families, this will be a "fiery" test, quickly imposed upon all those who wish to please Jehovah God, at this time. It will be just as Peter said,
"in order that the tested quality of your faith, of much greater value than gold that perishes despite its being proved by fire, may be found a cause for praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus." -- 1 Peter 1:7
Of course we know, if anyone who formerly was not a baptized Jehovah's Witness before, at this time voluntarily wants to accept the "E-Scapegoat" Arrangement and voluntarily wants to become a vital part of our cause at this time, and wants to become a "dedicated" brother or sister under this arrangement, why this would fine. Such a one, would no doubt, have made such a decision because they had been baptized "in the word" of truth, prior to making such a decision. In all such cases, where the non Jehovah's Witness marriage mate voluntarily chooses to serve Jehovah God, at this time, then they will be granted "Israelite" status instantly, just as bible examples of Ruth and Rahab, women of the nations, who voluntarily became "Israelites" by way of changing their religions and accepting the Jewish way of life. -- Ruth 1:16
In this way, these former "alien residents" now become Honorary "Israelite" citizens, and as such, appropriately are now allowed to stay within the ranks of the spiritual "Israelite" Nation of our time. And as honorary spiritual "Israelites" of our times, they are now viewed as part of God's Name people, and are thus permitted to become a part of the magnificent "Chariot" Arrangement, the "Male Child" Kingdom of God Government as it exists at that time. These "alien residents" as bible prophecy indicates, will be granted full "Israelite" status instantly, and will be permitted a glorious place of worship right alongside the "Male Child" Kingdom Government Heirs, to whom they are married to. -- Ezekiel 47:22, 23
However, if for any reason these former "alien residents" become dissatisfied in some way with the YORWW, or if they decide to voluntarily leave the YORWW Arrangement, or if they are perhaps dismissed from the YORWW by the Modern Day "Servant" himself or some authority figure designated by the "Chieftain" for any reason, then it will be the same as in the case of any other Jehovah's witness who has wickedly left the YORWW, meaning their marriages to the faithful Israelite member of the YORWW will thus be immediately terminated in the eyes of the YORWW Congregation upon the wicked mate's release from the congregation, thereby making the "innocent" mate in the YORWW Kingdom Arrangement, free to remarry if they so desire. This will become the "Law" of the Modern Day "Servant" or "Chieftain" of the Temple Arrangement as regards this situation. -- Isaiah 42:4; Ezekiel 44:3
Understandably, we expect all such occurrences to be quite rare in the YORWW Kingdom Arrangement, even though bible prophecy does explain, the distinct possibility does exist for such like things to happen upon occasion. -- Please see Isaiah 65:20.
Likewise, for such cases where the marriage mate does not respond to the Special Invite, the Special Kingdom Message, the "Report" that is given out to the "Male Child" at that time...then all such marriages to these individuals will be discontinued, dissolved, promptly and without delay. Think about it. -- Revelation 22:17
Indeed, at that time, we will come to understand this vital fact about our failed marriages as Jehovah's witnesses:
... the primary reason our marriage failed is NOT because of anything on our parts, but solely due to the infidelity of our wicked mates who flatly refused God's invitation, yes God's invitation to become a part of this glorious "heavenly" arrangement and spiritual feast which will ultimately feed all mankind. No, these "wicked" mates simply did not "possess the faith," necessary to become a vibrant part of such a wonderful arrangement. And as we all know, it is indeed, "impossible to please" Jehovah fully, without this vital quality of faith. Indeed, all mankind earthwide, that wish to survive Armageddon, and on into God's New System of things to gain "life" in the Paradise of God, will have to possess this quintessential, all-important quality. -- 2 Thessalonians 3:2; Luke 18:8; Hebrews 11:6; Revelation 22:17
Therefore, these unfaithful marriage mates, who do not wish to accept God's Escapegoat Arrangement at that time, and become a part of the YORWW, thus will have made their FINAL "Stand with Satan," and will have to be viewed as "wicked" ones who refuse to "learn righteousness," yes individuals who are truly of the "Seed of Satan," the "enemy" of the Abrahamic "Seed," namely the "Chieftain" of the Temple of God. -- See Isaiah 26:10; Genesis 3:15; Matthew 22:8.
Again as mentioned above, in all such cases, the marriage between this person and the faithful prospective YORWW member, the faithful Jehovah's Witness wife or husband, will be dissolved, with the faithful mate taking the lead in causing the divorce action of this mate from themselves, BEFORE, before actually joining the YORWW Arrangement.
Yes, in all such cases, scriptural divorces based upon the New Scapegoat Law, then will be granted to the innocent member of the marriage that does want to truly serve Jehovah! Yes, in this way, all who wish to serve Jehovah in a clean environment, away from those who display true "enmity" toward Jehovah's Anointed "Seed" and God's Kingdom Arrangement expressed thru the "Male Child" at that time, will be able to do so without having the burden of being married to one who simply hates truth and Jehovah God and those who wish to honor His Great Name.
In short, we should not expect any marriage to survive such a devastating situation, as having one party who is a member of the "Male Child" or Kingdom Government member as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and the other partner continually showing himself to be an outright opposer to God's Established Kingdom Arrangement, after Jehovah's "Great Day" has started. And that Great Day, indeed does start for these unbelieving mates of members of the "Male Child", with the foretold "birth" of the Male Child Kingdom Government itself. No doubt after such a great "cleansing" of the nation of faithful Jehovah's Witnesses, as the tribes of "Judah" and "Levi," then, a great, great miracle will occur. But "...what will this great miracle be," you may ask.
Well, let's notice the following information on the coming of a Grand Miracle of God's doing.
A GREAT, GREAT MIRACLE ON ALMIGHTY GOD'S PART TO ENLARGE THE NATION OF ISRAEL -- Isaiah 55:13
Yes, the miracles of miracles is coming. Yes, it is the great, overwhelming miracle as described at Joel 2:1, 2 which says:
"Blow a horn in Zion, O men, and shout a war cry in my holy mountain. Let all the inhabitants of the land get agitated; for the day of Jehovah is coming, for it is near! It is a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick gloom, like light of dawn spread out upon the mountains. There is a people numerous and mighty; one like it has not been made to exist from the indefinite past, and after it there will be none again to the years of generation after generation."
After the Great "Cleansing" of the Male Child, then the wonderous miracle of all times, will go down in history...the phenomenal gathering of the 200 Million Gentiles for God's Name. Just as the prophet Joel says above, this will be a gathering unlike any before its time. No, nothing like this Grand Gathering of some 200 million "Gentiles For God's Name," has ever been made to exist, or done before. (Acts 15:14, 17) No, this miracle will be one for all ages to take note of, with its lasting-effects to last "to the years of generation after generation." -- Joel 2:1, 2
Actually, Isaiah 55:13 also speaks of this Grand Miracle by saying,
"Instead of the thicket of thorns the juniper tree will come up. Instead of the stinging nettle the myrtle tree will come up. And it must become for Jehovah something famous, a sign to time indefinite that will not be cut off." -- Isaiah 55:13
Yes, this Grand Miracle of gathering some 200 Million people for God's Name, yes will indeed become a "famous sign" for Jehovah Himself, that will last to "time indefinite," and "will not be cut off" .... ever. Think about it.
One of the most amazing things about such a great gathering of the 200 Million will be the great speed in which it is accomplished by Almighty God Himself. This will insure, that Jehovah God, gets all of the credit for such an amazing ingathering for Himself. (Isaiah 42:8) Also the choice selection too, the particular individuals that He chooses, will serve as notice to all, that Jehovah God "knows the heart of all men," and can accurately pick "sheep" like individuals flawless, without ever making a single mistake at any time in his selection process of these 200 Million Gentiles for His Name too. In other words, it will be a Perfect Selection in itself for God. No mistakes will be made at all. Isaiah 5:26, 27 says of each and every selection of the 200 Million Gentiles for God's Name,
"And he has raised up a signal to a great nation far away, and he has whistled to it at the extremity of the earth; and, look! in haste it will swiftly come in. There is no one tired nor is anyone stumbling among them. No one is drowsy and no one sleeps. And the belt around their loins will certainly not be opened, nor the laces of their sandals be torn in two because their arrows are sharpened and all their bows are bent. The very hoofs of their horses will have to be accounted as flint itself, and their wheels as a storm wind." -- See Isaiah 60:22.
Therefore, this great miracle that is described above, will prove to be the visible "blessing" that Jehovah God places upon this newly established nation of Israel, as mentioned at Numbers 6:27. There will be no question, but that Jehovah is indeed, blessing this newly formed "Male Child" Government Arrangement at this time. Therefore, after we have come to fully understand the magnitude of the gathering of the 200 Million Gentiles For God's Name, and its resulting effect upon all of the earth, then we can better see the fact that all people on the earth, will at that time, be faced with recognizing Jehovah God, as the Supreme One of the Universe. Yes, Jehovah will have made His Great and Lofty Presence, known among mankind, finally!
THE SCRIPTURAL PRECEDENT CONSIDERED FOR MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE UNDER THE NEW E-SCAPEGOAT LAW COVENANT
In finding biblical precedent for such a powerful and moving Judicial Decision, Jehovah has provided ample examples of faithful men of old and the examples of those who tried to keep the nation of Israel free from "foreign wives" infiltrating the pure worship of God's People. These men knew that "marriages" to nonworshipers of Jehovah, did always cause problems for the nation itself. These men always sought to keep the nation of Israel, clean from such "marriages" where one party wanted to serve God and the other party did not. We today, can turn to men such as Ezra and Nehemiah who set the example for all Jehovah's Witnesses on this matter. They urged God's People to even "put away" or completely divorce those of the "foreign wives" who did not wish to serve Jehovah as proselytes before Him. This type of marriage was DISSOLVED before Jehovah God as being unfit in itself. This situation will prove to be prophetic for Jehovah's Witnesses, in the future. At such a time as these, as Jesus indicated at Matthew 19:27-30, many marriages will be dissolved at this time, when the Kingdom Chariot of some 200 million is established upon earth, as the Kingdom of God to produce a purified people and nation for Jehovah God Himself. -- Please examine Ezra 9:1 thru Ezra 10:4; also Nehemiah 13:23-27; Malachi 3:2-4
In years past, Jehovah's Witnesses always had a problem with solving the marriage mate problem, in that the nation of Jehovah's Witnesses was always too small to find a "suitable" mate for many of our faithful brothers and sisters. Well, that problem will be solved when Jehovah brings in the 200 Million Gentiles For God's Name. All of them will be righteous servants for Jehovah's Name. This means, that by chance, if someone is married to one who today, does not, for whatever reason want to serve Jehovah, this sister or brother NEED NOT FEEL TRAPPED in his present situation. No, because he/she will be allowed to scripturally divorce this person based upon the New "Law" that God has provided. So if one is married to someone who opposes the worship of Jehovah and the full acceptance of the New Covenantal Arrangement at this time, after the "Birth of the Male Child," then he or she will be able to remarry another individual, either taken from the "Male Child" grouping of faithful brothers and sisters, or he/she can marry one taken from the many, many millions and millions of God's Name People, those of the 200 Million, who will be prevalent on earth, shortly after the birth of the "Male Child."
Remember, scriptural divorces will be permitted based upon the "New Law" that has been enacted today, namely as the "E-Scapegoat" Arrangement. This will be granted, because the unfaithful mate, has been "declared" dead in the eyes of God, as one carrying a "curse" upon themselves. -- Galatians 3:10
It will be reminiscent of when "Eve" first ate the forbidden fruit and she brought the forbidden fruit to Adam. Exactly at the moment Eve at the fruit, she had "died" to Jehovah God. She died that very day, just as Jehovah told them, "in the day you eat of this fruit, you will surely die." (Genesis 2:16, 17) And that is exactly what happened to them, they both "died" to Jehovah that same day. But if Adam had been faithful himself, and he refused to eat this forbidden fruit from the hand of his wicked wife, Eve, Adam could have said to "Eve," we are now divorced, because you have eaten from the forbidden fruit that God has commanded us NOT to eat from. Now, Eve, you are a "dead" person, in the eyes of God, from this day forward. As a "dead" person in the eyes of God, that marriage is now SEVERED, dissolved because this wicked, unfaithful mate is now declared "wicked" before God and mankind. This person is now "dead" before God and man. This marriage is now dissolved, based upon what Paul himself at 1 Corinthians 7:39 which says,
"A wife is bound during all the time her husband is alive. But if her husband should fall asleep in death, she is free to be married to whom she wants, only in the Lord."
Yes, as you remember, this above statement of Paul', is a command...a Command of God. Therefore, we are always free to marry anyone we choose, but ONLY IN THE LORD...only one of Jehovah's Witnesses and servants. But as you can see above, "death" frees one from the marital bond. These are everlasting "principles" that stand good, even to this day. So then, "death", does break the marriage bond, completely in God's eyes. And when someone has died in God's eyes, spiritually, they have died that very same day. Therefore based upon that fact, the New Law on marriages and divorce will incorporate that principle and thought, and will be enacted to reflect the spiritual death of an individual, one who is "dead" in their trespasses against Jehovah God. In this case, it would be just as Jesus said, "let the dead bury the dead." -- Luke 9:60
But what if one is married to a dedicated baptized Jehovah's witness (former or current) and sees his or herself as a prospective member of the "Male Child" Kingdom Government? And yet, they find themselves married to an individual who is still "undecided" or simply does not want to become a part of the YORWW Arrangement, at the time of the "birth" of the "Male Child" -- what should one do? Should this one wait upon the wishes of his "undecided" or outright "opposed" mate, in case this one may possibly decide to "repent" some day in the future and finally accept the "E-Scapegoat" Arrangement? Well, if one did this, wouldn't this mean that the marriage itself to an "accursed" individual was worth more to that person, than his or her personal relationship with Jehovah God? (Galatians 3:10) No question, but if one decides to do this, he would have to be considered one that has "put his hand to the plow" and later decided to "look back," in the direction of his wavering, "unsteady" mate. (James 1:6-8) In all such cases, the one who decides to "wait for" the unfaithful mate, would clearly NOT be considered a good choice to be a member of the "Male Child" Kingdom Government, since his "loyalty" to his unfaithful, wavering mate, proved to be greater than his loyalty to Jehovah's Kingdom Arrangement, which automatically renders him "unfit" for the Kingdom of God. In all such cases, it would be better for this one to stay with his "unsteady", wavering "mate," even though he knows he cannot guarantee his/her "repentance" nor acceptance of the Modern Day "Servant" Arrangement. Perhaps, this one may be "happier" in doing this, but here again, he/she must accept whatever consequences come along with the making of such a vital decision of accepting a mate of "unfaithfulness" over an opportunity to become a part of Jehovah's Future Kingdom Government Arrangement that will Rule the Earth, and clear the earth of all reproach brought upon His Great and Holy Name. Therefore, this one must determine for himself or herself, which privilege would be greater in his own eyes. -- Luke 9:61, 62; Luke 14:26; Luke 18:28-30; Matthew 8:11, 12; Revelation 22:15
2 Corinthians 6:14 says for our benefit,
"Do not become unevenly yoked [literally "differently yoked" NWT Ref. Bible Large print ftn.] with unbelievers. For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darkness?"
Actually when we think of it, isn't it true that when a person is married, he or she has been yes, "yoked together" with another human. Isn't that true? Thus with that thought in mind, Paul could draw upon a Divine Principle found in the Mosaic Law, that of namely the wrongful yoking of say a "bull" with a "donkey" as being a very bad idea, to accomplish the "plowing" of a field. And of course, we know, this simply would not make much sense, since the bull and the mule have different strengths, and they exhibit it, they pull or labor differently, isn't that so? Therefore, if one were to foolishly "yoke together" the bull with the "donkey," this would undoubtedly bring UNDUE HARDSHIP ON BOTH ANIMALS, along with great stress and strain to both animals. -- See Deuteronomy 22:10.
Therefore, we can see why it would be so unwise, to expect a marriage of two different people, "differently yoked together" people, one who is a servant of Jehovah and one who is opposed to Jehovah, 2 people who believe so differently, to somehow survive the critical events that lie ahead for God's Name People. Critical events like the difficult going thru the Great Tribulation upon God's Name People and worldwide persecution of Jehovah's witnesses. Also, the difficult striving for the final unction or "anointing" of the entire nation of Israel, closely followed by the destruction of wicked Babylon The Great. And then there are the Grand events ahead like the Great "Marriage of the Lamb," as well as eventually facing God's Great Day of Destruction, we call "Armageddon" which becomes the full destruction of all wicked governments earthwide, as well any who would adamantly and defiantly support such at this time. (Revelation 16:14, 16) Yes, we are fast nearing, all of these powerful events today, yes, right up to the start of 1,000 year reign of peace upon earth.
Therefore, why would anyone think, that a "differently yoked together" marriage, at such a time as these, where one member of the marriage is a loyal, devoted servant of Jehovah and one is clearly opposed to serving Jehovah at all, then could survive such horrendous, powerful events ahead for all of God's Name People? Think about it.
Therefore, we must say in conclusion on this most important topic: What does this all mean -- namely the new "Law" on marriage and divorce when fully operational toward God's Name People of the "Male Child"? Well, it means that one day, one day in the future, the whole nation of Israel, the entire nation of the "Male Child" and eventually all of God's Name People will be united completely, all of their marriages too. There will be no "divided" households anymore, among God's Name People. A person who has proven himself to be incorrigibly wicked. Jehovah's People will now have the freedom to finally divorce such wicked persons, and seek out a new life for themselves, among the many millions and millions of people, who really do want to serve Jehovah and worship Him in spirit and truth. They will now be free to choose a faithful mate for themselves from among the 200 Million Gentiles For God's Name, or even from among the "Male Child" themselves, yes so many faithful ones who will be serving Jehovah at that time. There will be yes, so many at that time, to choose from indeed. One will be assured to find a suitable marriage mate at that time, who truly wants to serve Jehovah in spirit and in truth, which will make for a delightful marital arrangement, all to God's glory.
Yes, after divorcing their unfaithful mates, these faithful servants of God will be able to freely mingle, make the acquaintance of countless MILLIONS of potential future marriage mates, all individuals that Jehovah God has miraculously provided to form a giant pool of individuals from whom one can select, for a potential, future marriage mate.

Can Your Religion Correctly Explain The “Scapegoat”??? - Leviticus 16:10
Jehovah's Witnesses a few years ago distributed the October 1st, 2011 issue of the Watchtower magazine in your neighborhood. Sooooo ... have you personally read this particular issue of the Watchtower magazine yet? Interestingly in it, the following specific criticism is made about other church organizations besides Jehovah's Witnesses, on page 9, paragraph 2:
"...Some churches discourage the idea of comparing their teachings with what the Bible says..."
Hmmmmmmmm.
One could wonder at this point, aren't Jehovah's Witnesses themselves NOTORIOUS for doing the very same thing? For example, if a Jehovah's Witness, using the bible, begins to question certain "pet" teachings or “hidden” practices of their religion (such as 1914 doctrine, 607 B.C.E. date for Jerusalem's destruction, United Nations NGO 10-year Secret Involvement, etc.), aren't such ones ultimately “marked," shunned, and even disfellowshiped under the charge of being an APOSTATE ... isn't this so??? -- For more information on these topics, see the book called The Report Volume I, chapters 6 & 7.
Further, upon examination you will note this particular article even tells churchgoers of other religions:

(A Close Analysis of Leviticus 16:10) Part 1
In the most magnificent way, Jehovah accomplishes all things thru the precious blood of Jesus Christ. This is especially true of the mysterious "Scapegoat" Sacrifice that Jehovah has prepared for modern day "Israel" of our time, to cleanse them of heinous sin. Therefore, as we consider this written material, let's keep uppermost in mind that our discovery of these unthinkable, "incomprehensible" thoughts, and "peering" into this matter is only by the Divine Permission of Jehovah God Himself -- this "peering" into matters that even angels wish to, yes this very, very deep matter of the Sacred Secret of the "Scapegoat" Covenant. This unknown covenant is something that has been hidden from mankind and even angels in heaven for untold centuries...millenniums even. Thus, it becomes the Greatest of All "Sacred Secrets" from God Almighty Himself, withheld from mankind itself since mankind's creation. Yes, a "Sacred Secret" so great, so powerful, that when fully understood and comprehended by mankind in general, it will completely revolutionize the way mankind thinks of Genesis 3:15 and what God intended originally, in the Garden of Eden when he uttered this most important prophecy and its outworking for our day and time. Let us read on to see why we say this is so. -- Jeremiah 33:3; Ephesians 3:9; James 1:25; 1 Peter 1:12
Jeremiah 33:3 says for our benefit:
"Call to me, and I shall answer you and readily tell you great and incomprehensible things that YOU HAVE NOT KNOWN."
Yes, to be sure, one of the most amazing verses in the bible which speaks of "great," and "incomprehensible things" that mankind has NOT known of before, all hidden within the Holy Scriptures themselves for thousands of years, millenniums, can be found below at Leviticus 16:10. This verse plainly says:
"But the goat over which the lot came up for Azazel should be stood alive before Jehovah TO MAKE ATONEMENT FOR IT, so as to send it away for Azazel into the wilderness." -- Leviticus 16:10 New World Translation
Of course we speak of the "Scapegoat," (which is named such in a number of bibles like the popular King James Version, New International Version, as well as the Septuagint Version of the bible), or as some translations refer to this "goat," yes, as the "living goat" that proves to be the 2nd goat in the scenario of the Day of Atonement procedure. Maybe, you personally remember reading about this, when reading the 16th chapter of Leviticus. If so, you no doubt recall reading about this 2nd "goat," the “live goat” that is surprisingly, "ATONED FOR" before … yes, before it is used by Jehovah God in a special sacrificial sense. Indeed, a careful analysis of this verse, namely Leviticus 16:10, shows us the 2nd goat is actually "ATONED FOR" before it is to be used in a "sacrificial sense" for God. All of this means, this “goat,” could not picture Jesus Christ, in any way shape or form. No, it must picture someone else, besides Jesus Christ.
Indeed, the 2nd goat that is ultimately "sent into the wilderness" to "atone" for the nation’s sins, is itself first, "atoned for" before being "presented" to Jehovah for sacrificial use. (Lev. 16:10, 20) Thus, when it is "presented" to Jehovah, it has been cleansed in God's eyes, made holy and prepared BY MEANS OF the 1st goat, which obviously pictures Jesus Christ. Thus, we can say with absolute certainty then, Jesus Christ must picture the 1st sacrificial goat, and to date, an unknown imperfect human should logically picture the 2nd goat...the one we call the Scapegoat of God. Therefore, based upon the foregoing, it would be the height of foolishness to say or teach Jesus Christ pictures both the 1st goat, and the 2nd goat, as the Watchtower Society, and all other so-called “Christian” religions currently teach world wide. Yes, since we all know, Jesus had no "sins" to be "atoned for" at all. He was a perfect man. No doubt, this is a point that has escaped the notice of many bible scholars earth wide, including the Watchtower Society. -- See John 8:46; Hebrews 7:26.
For example, take this comment from the Watchtower Society’s release, Insight on the Scriptures Volume 1 page 225 under the heading of “Azazel,” third paragraph. It states in part:
“...However, the goat for Azazel was preserved alive for a time ‘before Jehovah to make atonement for it, so as to send it away for Azazel into the wilderness.’ (Le 16:5, 7-10 New World Translation) Atonement for this live goat issued from the blood of the goat for Jehovah, which had just been killed as a sin offering, the life of the flesh being in the blood. (Le 17:11) The blood value, or life value, of the slain goat was thus transferred to the live goat, or the goat for Azazel. Thus, though it was not killed by the priest, this live goat bore upon it a sin-atoning merit or a value of life. The fact that it was presented before Jehovah evidently indicates that he recognized this transfer of merit or sin-atoning power.”
Now what do you think of this small bit of information presented above?
Well, the most obvious question that one could ask here is:
...If Jesus pictures both “goats” then in this prophetic drama, as all Christian religions believe including the Watchtower Society and all Jehovah’s Witnesses, then why … oh why would there even be a need to TRANSFER … TRANSFER the “sin-atoning merit or a value of life” to the second goat??? In fact, there would be no need … no need to “TRANSFER” anything, since Jesus pictures both goats, isn’t that so???
Incredibly, this foolish statement on the Watchtower Society’s part came about because they had just quoted from their own translation in verse 10 saying the second goat had been “atoned for.” Did you notice this? Which means this “atoning” occurred no doubt by way of God’s applying the “sin-atoning merit” of the “blood” from the first goat, invariably to the second “goat” or “live goat.” That was the God-inspired arrangement. However, when the Watchtower Society chose to speak of something, anything for that matter, yes being “transferred” in this case, it would not make good sense, indeed if the second goat also pictured Jesus Christ. No, it would NOT make good sense.
Therefore, when we think about this above stated viewpoint, isn’t this statement really like saying,
… Almighty God TRANSFERRED the “sin-atoning merit or value” of Jesus’ blood from the first goat [Jesus] … yes, to JESUS, the second goat??? Isn’t that so?
Yes, according to the Watchtower Society’s own words from their printed publications & bible translation, yes Jesus’ blood or the “merit” or “value” of it, was miraculously “transferred” FROM Jesus … oh my, to Jesus, since he, Jesus in addition to picturing the first “goat,” also amazingly pictured the second goat or “live goat” too. “Ridiculous!,” you say.
Yes, no doubt this is the kind of nonsensical statement on the part of the Watchtower Society which reminds many Jehovah’s Witnesses of equally foolish statements from staunch religionists of Christendom, who adamantly teach and believe Jesus is actually God. Oh my! Yes, when Jehovah’s Witnesses are out in “field service,” and they encounter these ones with this type of reasoning who shamelessly say such things like:
“… Jesus as Almighty God, when praying on earth, was actually PRAYING TO HIMSELF. [Our reaction was … “SAY WHAT”??? … And then they would continue…] Yes, Jesus prayed to himself, accordingly with Jesus also in heaven listening to his actual prayer being pronounced on earth, by Jesus. “Ridiculous” you say, right??? Well, it would be just as ridiculous to say that anything, that’s anything … was “TRANSFERRED” from the first goat to the second, if Jesus himself, pictured both goats.
Think about it!
No doubt, this explains the continued nonsense of the Watchtower Society, when they said the following about who is actually pictured by the Scapegoat, when they state:
“As the apostle Paul explained, by Jesus’ offering of his own perfect human life as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind, he accomplished far more than had been achieved by ‘the blood of bulls and of goats.’ (Heb. 10:4, 11, 12) He thus served as “the scapegoat,” being the ‘carrier of our sicknesses,’ the one “pierced for our transgression.” (Isa. 53:4, Mt 8:17; 1 Pe 2:24) He ‘carried away’ the sins of all who exercise faith in the value of his sacrifice. He demonstrated the provision of God to take sinfulness into complete oblivion. In these ways the goat “for Azazel” [Az•a’zel] pictures the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.” -- See Insight On The Scriptures, Volume 1, page 226 paragraph 3.
So we can see, the Watchtower Society does indeed believe the 2nd goat does picture Jesus Christ, along with the 1st goat too. Jesus pictures BOTH “goats” according to the Watchtower Society and Jehovah’s Witnesses. However we note something very interesting about this situation, namely, the "live goat", after being cleansed of sin, is then used in a sacrificial sense itself to "atone for" the nation's sins -- that’s AFTER its initial cleansing before God. Now, what do you think of that fact???
Also, according to scripture, all of the nation’s "sins" and "revolts" are next, confessed and "put upon" the head of the scapegoat or E-scapegoat, or "live goat" which is then, to be used in a sacrificial sense for NATIONAL SIN, as a “living” sacrifice. Which means, the 2nd “goat” is now, sent off into the wilderness for sacrificial purposes for the entire nation of Israel. But, first we remember, he must be cleansed from sin, yes, by means of the "1st goat," the one that was killed. Then the "live goat" can be viewed by God as a clean sacrifice and is now able to "carry off" the errors and transgressions of the entire nation, to the wilderness for God. -- Leviticus 16: 21, 22
Think About It!
THE PROCEDURE FOR A CLEANSED LEPER -- 2 BIRDS USED
We can again, see this same drama visualized within the 14th chapter of Leviticus when we discuss the 2 birds used in the atonement procedure for the "leper" or leprosy. Two different "birds" are used in the procedure. The "1st bird" was killed and its blood spilled over running water. Next, the "2nd bird" the "live bird" was "dipped into the blood" of the first bird. So again, in this procedure, live the procedure of the "Day of Atonement," the "2nd bird" in this instance is cleansed, made holy and atoned for, by means of the first bird who was just sacrificed. (Lev. 14:4-7) And after this "dipping" procedure was carried out, the "2nd bird" was "sent away" to "open field" or to the wilderness. This was the scenario that was used in the procedure to follow, when a leper was cured from his disease and was now ready to be presented back to the congregation, whole and cleansed. The procedure was as follows:
"the priest must then give command; and he must take for cleansing himself two live clean birds and cedarwood and coccus scarlet material and hyssop. And the priest must give command, and the one bird must be killed in an earthenware vessel over running water. As for the living bird, he should take it and the cedarwood and the coccus scarlet material and the hyssop, and he must DIP THEM AND THE LIVING BIRD IN THE BLOOD OF THE BIRD THAT WAS KILLED over the running water. Then he must spatter it seven times upon the one cleansing himself from the leprosy and he must pronounce him clean, and he must SEND AWAY THE LIVING BIRD OVER THE OPEN FIELD." -- Lev. 14:4-7
So we see a correspondency in this instance, where the "live bird" is dipped into the "blood" of the first bird, which had been previously "killed" and its blood spilled before God. This first "bird" pictures Jesus Christ, willingly shedding his precious blood in a sacrificial sense, in behalf of the 2nd bird, the "living bird," who would in turn be later used in a sacrificial sense also, but much later, in behalf of a future nation of Israel of God's making. A modern-day "Israel" of God's making.
Also according to scripture, all of the nations "sins" and "revolts" are next, confessed and "put upon" the head of the scapegoat or E-scapegoat, or "live goat" which is then, to be used in a sacrificial sense for NATIONAL SIN, as a “living” sacrifice. Which means, the 2nd “goat” is now, sent off into the wilderness for sacrificial purposes for the entire nation of Israel. But, first we remember, the “live goat” must be cleansed from sin, yes, by means of the "1st goat," the one that was killed. Then the "live goat" can be viewed by God as a clean sacrifice and is now able to "carry off" the errors and transgressions of the entire nation, to the wilderness for God. (The fact that the “ready man” who released the 2nd goat came back himself “unclean,” proves the “sins” originally placed upon the head of the 2nd goat was NOT atoned for in the camp, as some religionists suggest.) -- See Leviticus 16: 21, 22, 26 NWT.
GOD'S "HIDDEN" WISDOM FROM THE BEGINNING -- REVEALED!
Therefore, in this instance, God gave us a preview of what he was about to accomplish using the precious blood of Jesus, upon an imperfect man, in a special sense, and making that man a human sacrifice to be used, at the appropriate time, at Jehovah God's discretion, IN FULFILLMENT OF THE PROMISE THAT JEHOVAH MADE ORIGINALLY IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN, AT GENESIS 3:15 (See in-depth article on this topic at: http://www.yorww.com/mistake.html). This unique promise of God proves that one day, He would use the imperfect "seed of the woman" [Eve], in the most astonishing, astounding way. Of course, when Jehovah said it, no one but Jesus actually knew how Jehovah would accomplish the "ransoming" of mankind from sin, USING an imperfect descendant of mankind, the "seed of the woman," the seed of "Eve." This baffled everyone, all the angels in heaven, including wicked Satan the Devil. No one knew how Jehovah would accomplish such a feat. So again, this "creative day" too, started with "evening" or darkness for all concerned, just as all of the other days too started with "evening" and later "morning." This is primarily the reason today, the Great "Mystery of God" still persists, even in the last days of our system of things. -- Genesis 2:23; Revelation 10:7
But from "times long-lasting," Jehovah had it "hidden within himself," exactly what He was going to do, to accomplish such an amazing feat, all to show to all of his creation, heavenly and earthly, that "God is Wise ALONE...alone." (Romans 16:25-27; Ephesians 1:8-10; 3:9) In order to accomplish such a great feat for Himself, Jehovah decides to baffle everyone, heavenly or earthly, using this prophetic statement of Genesis 3:15, which would altogether, in the end times, show everyone that He is the ONLY ONE that is truly "wise." It would be the unique use of the precious "blood of Jesus" that would ultimately prove it, finally. (Romans 11:33; 16:27)
So then, what was challenged in the Garden of Eden, by the planned calculated wickedness of Satan the Devil to bring about sin and rebellion against Jehovah, was Jehovah's Great Wisdom or Foresight. Satan had challenged that established fact before all creation, heavenly or earthly.
Therefore to meet this Great Challenge, All-Wise Jehovah purposed to use the precious blood of Jesus upon an imperfect man, the "2nd goat," as it were, the "2nd bird" as it were, and bring about complete "justification" for that man, wherein the person would be rendered in God's sight as a "guiltless" one, or a man free from sin, just as Adam was. Jehovah could accomplish this thru the precious blood of Jesus. God would produce a "new creation," as it were. (2 Cor. 5:17) So, this person actually REPLACES ADAM God’s firstborn among mankind, not Jesus Christ, the firstborn of the heavens. (Psalms 45:16; 89:27; Colossians 1:15, 16) God would produce a person fully "justified" or "declared righteous" before us, as an anointed footstep follower of Jesus Christ, and thus a permanent member of the New Covenant that Jesus mediated. A permanent member of that Covenant and Law of Christ, wherein this person would be an eternal representative of Jesus Christ upon earth, forever and a eternal member of the "New Covenant" established by Jesus Christ, forevermore. Which means, as long as this person lives, the Covenant of Jesus, lives too, through this person upon earth. In this way, it becomes an eternal covenant...the "blood of an everlasting covenant" in itself, thru this imperfect man, that God decides to cleanse and use in this sacrificial capacity, as the Scapegoat. -- Hebrews 13:20
HOW DOES IT WORK -- THE "JUSTIFICATION" PROCESS?
Romans 5:18 speaks of the justification of the Scapegoat or "2nd goat", the "live goat" this way,
"So, then as through one trespass the result to men of all sorts was condemnation, likewise also through one act of justification the result to men of all sorts is a declaring of them righteous for life."
Therefore thru the blood of Jesus, this one person, the person used to become the "2nd goat," or the "2nd bird" would have been completely "declared righteous for life," and by means of the blood of Jesus then, put on the same plateau of Adam, a perfect man free from sin. And in this way, this formerly imperfect man, could now be "declared righteous for life," before God. This would be the same as for all "anointed" ones of the first century, where Jesus himself described their situation as being ones who could be considered "guiltless ones." They are the ones that could be "declared guiltless by means of this one," Jesus Christ and his shed blood. -- Matthew 12:7; Acts 13:39
Therefore based upon that understanding of things, we can better perceive the actual happenings and actual NEED for another "Covenant" arrangement for "Israel," having lost their original Contract or Covenant that Jesus mediated, because of the Great Sin committed by the nation, via the UNITED NATIONS NGO SECRET LIASON of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses, committed in 1991...a National Sin which sinks the entire nation of Modern day "Israel", God's Name People, down in sin, treason and apostasy in God's eyes. However let the nation of Jamaica and even the whole earth be notified, that since their (Jehovah's Witnesses) recent fall in apostasy, as revealed by their secret alliance with the United Nations Organization as NGO supporters for ten (10) years (they applied in 1991 up thru 2001), indeed that most holy privilege of being exclusively considered Jehovah God's “Name People” on earth as modern-day Israel, has been STRIPPED FROM THE JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES, and given to the people of Jamaica, those who will obediently bear the righteous "fruits" Jehovah ultimately seeks. We repeat, amazingly and to the shock of many around the world, bible prophecy actually indicates that awesome, grand privilege of becoming God's “Name People,” would fall upon the nation of Jamaica, numbering some 4 million plus, world wide. Indeed, the nation and people of Jamaica should now be properly recognized as "a People for God's Name," Modern Day "Israel" even, with the elite number of the 144,000 being selected or chosen from among their number, for a very special purpose in the “last days,” or “end times.” Yes, these very special individuals (144,000) would bear the Name of God "upon their foreheads" as loyal servants of God, singing as if a "New Song" upon Mount Zion, a "Song" that ONLY they themselves could fully "master" or "learn fully," with the special help and assistance of the once "Hidden" or "Concealed" Son of Man, the Modern Day "Servant" of God. -- See Acts 15:14; Isaiah 49:2; Revelation 14:1-5.
ANOTHER COVENANT FROM GOD REVEALED, NEEDED
As described in Ezekiel 20:37, 38 after Israel is chased to the "wilderness" to have all of their "transgressors" and "revolters" as it were, "cleaned out from them", the prophet says of the nation's future,
"And I will make you pass under the rod and bring you into the bond of the covenant. And I will clean out from YOU the revolters and the transgressors against me, for out of the land of their alien residence I shall bring them forth, but onto the soil of Israel they will not come; and YOU people will have to know that I am Jehovah." -- Ezekiel 20:37, 38New World Translation
The "bond of the covenant", would show the NEED for another Covenantal Arrangement, for the nation of Israel, in God's eyes. And this would be because the nation needed to be "atoned for," by some special means, by means of a "2nd goat" to come on the earthly scene...yes God Almighty foreknew in His infinite wisdom and understanding this would be the case, and therefore made it a PUBLIC RECORD by placing it in the bible itself as a part of the Mosaic Law Procedure itself... in Leviticus 14th and 16th chapters.
Also Jeremiah foresaw this day when another "covenant", in fact one called "an indefinitely lasting covenant" between Israel and Jehovah, would come into existence. A new "indefinitely lasting covenant" for Israel of our times, then would be needed for modern-day "Israel" itself when he said:
"In those days and at that time, is the utterance of Jehovah, the sons of Israel, they and the sons of Judah together, will come. They will walk, weeping as they walk, and for Jehovah their God they will seek. To Zion they will keep asking the way, with their faces in that direction, saying Come and let us join ourselves to Jehovah in an indefinitely lasting covenant that will not be forgotten." -- Jeremiah 50:4, 5 NWT
After Israel should realize their "fall" into apostasy from God, and are severely disciplined by Jehovah God in these "last days," they as a nation, will see the need to "join themselves to Jehovah in an indefinitely lasting covenant," in our modern day times.
Then too, the prophet Ezekiel spoke of the same situation for our day,
“62 And I, I myself, will establish my covenant with you; and you will have to know that I am Jehovah, 63 in order that you may remember and actually be ashamed and you may no more come to have any reason to open [your] mouth because of your humiliation, when I make an atonement for you for all that you have done,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.” -- Ezekiel 16:62-63 NWT
THE "SONG OF THE LAMB" (A “NEW SONG”) & THE "SONG OF MOSES"
There are many other features of the Mosaic Law Covenant that will have to be brought up again, as mentioned in the book of Revelation, where it described it as mankind again learning the "Song of Moses," and its true meaning for us today. Plus the “New Song,” also called the "Song of the Lamb,"... a very "New Song" for all concerned. -- Ephesians 1:8-10; Revelation 5:9, 10; Revelation 14:3; Revelation 15:3
For example the celebration of Pentecost, where "2 lambs" and "2 loaves" of bread were "waved" does picture something very grand and profound for our day and time, as well as for all the anointed footstep followers of Jesus in the first century.
"Out of your dwelling places you should bring two loaves as a wave. Of two tenths of an ephah of fine flour they should prove to be. They should be baked leavened, as first ripe fruits to Jehovah...And you must render up one kid of the goats as a sin offering and two male lambs, each a year old, as a communion sacrifice. And the priest must wave them to and fro along with the [two] loafs of the first ripe fruits, as a wave offering before Jehovah, along with the two male lambs. They should serve as something holy to Jehovah for the priest." -- Lev. 23:17, 19, 20 NWT
First we notice there are two (2) LEAVENED loaves that are "waved" as "firstfruits" to Jehovah God, for full acceptance as a "communion offering." Of course the "leavened" bread pictures "sin" held deep within the members of this new covenantal arrangement itself. (1 Corinthians 5:7, These "sinful" ones then, are leavened "loaves" that are "waved" before Jehovah the Almighty, for Covenantal Acceptance, in this instance. The "loaves" then, picture repentant "Israel," or Israelites formerly under the Mosaic Law Covenant + new converts from the "nations" or "Gentiles" [Hebrew: Goiim or Greek: Ethnos] to makeup the New REPLACEMENT "Israel" of God, a chosen "people for His Name," as Acts 15:14 & 17 points out. (See also Matthew 21:43.) It would be this combination of two (2) distinct peoples/nations [Greek: Ethnos] that would now makeup God's Name People, led by those of the natural nation of "Israel," those taught directly by Jesus, the apostles taken from the Jewish nation. These are the ones of the nation of Ancient "Israel" that was willing to heed Jesus' warning for this people, and were willing to "repent" to enjoy "seasons of refreshing" from the very face of Jehovah. (Acts 3:19) Therefore with Jesus, they became this first "lamb" and the first "loaf" which was "waved," that was accepted at Pentecost of the first century, by God Almighty Jehovah.
So when we consider this important biblical account, we notice that with each "loaf," a "lamb" was to be "waved." In the first century, this "Lamb" pictured the one who made all of this possible, the True Passover "Lamb," Jesus Christ, whose righteous, spilled "blood," made the first century covenant as well as the newer arrangement (Scapegoat Covenant) we speak of, entirely possible in our day. This was Jehovah's Original Intent, as expressed in Genesis 3:15, to use the blood of Jesus in this special way. Thus, it became a Grand “Sacred Secret” [Greek: mysterion] on God's part. -- John 1:29, 36; Revelation 10:7
The first "lamb," thus points forward to the major "sacrificial" lamb of God, namely Jesus Christ who actually made all of this possible, both covenant arrangements, both "Christian" Law and "Scapegoat" Law, and additionally made possible the full acceptance in peace of the entire nation of Israel under the "curse" of the Mosaic Law [the first "loaf"], who had to be liberated from that particular "curse" to become fully acceptable to Jehovah God. (Galatians 3:10) These few ones from the Jewish Community then, after being mercifully liberated from the "curse" of the Mosaic law, then could righteously be "presented" to Jehovah as a "communion offerings" of peace [along with the new "Gentile" converts who greatly augmented the size of the 'new nation for God's Name,' per Acts 15:14, 17.] All of these ones, gained full acceptance as people under a "new covenantal" arrangement before Jehovah, and became true anointed ones of the first century who died faithful to God, and were taken to heaven as spiritual "Israel," as certain "firstfruits" to God. These ones of the first century, thus became those ultimately bound for heavenly life and also, heavenly rulership with Jesus. Amazing! -- Leviticus 23:17, 19, 20; James 1:18
Next, later in the ceremony, we see a second "lamb" and "loaf" which is also "leavened" and is likewise "waved" before God Almighty. This second "waving" of a "lamb" and "loaf" shows, uniquely the actual NEED for a second "lamb" [a modern-day messiah] in assisting a modern day "Israel" or second leavened "loaf," which must be lifted up from "apostasy" against God, as a nation. (Isaiah 49:5, 6) So, this second "loaf" now, must be "waved" or presented to Jehovah God, in a "communion offering" for acceptance, as a symbol of peace between God and the new God’s Name People/Nation of “Israel” of our modern-day times. -- Acts 15:14, 17
Thus, the second "lamb" that is "waved" must then picture a "justified" descendant of Adam and Eve, the "seed of Eve" spoken of in Genesis 3:15. He becomes a person "declared righteous" before God, who can, in his "justified" state before God, now act as a symbolic "lamb" in a sacrificial sense, to redeem "Israel," and "bring back to God," an apostate "Israel" that has developed into a very wicked nation of people, all within these "last days" of our times. He becomes a "guiltless one" before God Almighty, a person in whom God has selected to experience a true "anointing" by Jehovah as a spiritual "son" of God while on earth. He was given "authority" to become a spiritual "son" of God, by Jesus Christ himself. But he was "born from God" Jehovah, to do the will of Him that gave him life. -- Isaiah 49:5, 6; Romans 5:18; Romans 11:26, 27; Acts 13:38, 39; John 1:12, 13; Hebrews 2:11.
THE "LAMB" OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION AND THE "E-SCAPEGOAT"
Therefore, this new symbolic "lamb," this new "e-scape goat," throughout his entire ministry and life before God Almighty, then must prove himself to be one day, truly "worthy" before Almighty God and Jesus, to open the "7 seals on the scroll" of God, and explain these things to mankind, as true "Sacred Secrets" or Great "Mysteries" [Greek: mysterions] of God. (Revelation 5:1-5) A Great "Sacred Secret" indeed, which would be "finished" or fully understood as Revelation 10:7 says of our day, during the "final part of the days," when he was due to "arrive" on the earthly scene, as the foretold "that which is complete," as "Shiloh," and as the "one who has the legal right" before God. Incredible, is it not? -- Genesis 49:1, 10; Ezekiel 21:27; 1 Corinthians 13:10
Thus, we can finally make a clear distinction here, in that this symbolic sacrificial "lamb" as mentioned in the book of Revelation SHOULD NOT be understood to be Jesus Christ, as commonly thought. In fact, the Greek word "lamb," employed by the apostle John some 28 times in the book of Revelation is arnion which is actually a "baby lamb" or "lambkin" and differs greatly from the Greek word amnos which John, the inspired writer of Revelation, himself uses to describe a full-grown ADULT "lamb," as it were. -- John 1:29
Naturally, this full-grown "lamb" could picture no one better than our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ himself, as John 1:29 and John 1:36 describes him. So then, the "first" lamb then would picture Jesus Christ, and would be the first lamb "waved" or presented to Jehovah God. Also, the first "loaf," would picture first century "anointed" footstep followers, who were to be taken to heaven at death. And afterwards, in our day and time, the secondary "lamb" or baby "lambkin" [Greek: arnion] spoken of as a symbolic "lamb" in the book of Revelation, would become the "lamb" of our day, the "lamb" or "lambkin" of our modern day time. (Please notice the apostle John also uses the Greek word of arnion at John 21:15 where it is used to describe new followers of Jesus Christ as baby "lambs" or lambkins.)
Upon close examination of the book of Revelation, we find this unique Greek word "lambkin" mentioned some 28 times within the prophecy itself. It is this baby "lamb" or actual "lambkin," which proves to be an "anointed" footstep follower of Christ, a member of the "Christian" Covenant itself. He was to be "waved" in our day and times, as a "communion" offering, before Jehovah God again showing the full acceptance of God toward this new Scapegoat Covenant Arrangement, with His full approval for the modern day nation of God's Name People, modern-day "Israel," of God's making. Likewise, who today would be the first people called, “invited,” or given this unique opportunity for such a glorious privilege? -- Matthew 22:14
Well, it was God's Will for Jehovah's Witnesses to become the first chosen for the second "loaf." Of course we know, only a small remnant from their number will “repent,” yes, exactly like [a paradigm] what happened in the first century. These individuals realize they must likewise be liberated from the “curse” of God’s Original Law, yes, from the old covenant arrangement, the "Christian" Covenant, in this case. Additionally, to greatly augment this small number of individuals, a small "mystery" nation of Jehovah's Choosing would be added to their number to round out the newly formed Nation of "Israel." Indeed secretly, Jehovah God had been grooming this particular people, for this special position all along, ever since 1930, by way of the Rastafarian Movement of Jamaica! This startling fact, would later prove to be a world wide testimony of Jehovah’s Great Foresight into the future. Think about it!
Therefore, it is my (Donald C. Burney) distinct honor and privilege to announce to the entire earth, yes, the Jamaican People themselves, are now God’s Chosen Name People -- a people who number in the small millions today, and who interestingly approximate the actual size of Jehovah's Witnesses today on a world wide scale, who also number into the small millions. Then too as we might expect, this newly installed modern-day symbolic "lamb" of God spoken of earlier, must now be "waved" [or presented] before God, along with the modern day "loaf" [repentant small remnant of Jehovah's Witnesses + the Jamaican Nation] ... these must be "waved" as a single "loaf," for full acceptance before Jehovah in the "End Times," the "last days," of our time. Which ultimately means, those among the Jehovah's Witnesses in mass, who DO NOT repent before Jehovah at such a critical time, will now find themselves existing in total treason and apostasy before God, existing as God's "enemies" per the warning words of Ezekiel 14:9, 10, James 4:4 & Revelation 18:4, and invariably find themselves led, and being punished for the many sins of the wicked modern-day "man of lawlessness," namely the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses ... the very ones who have willingly and shamelessly "put their threshold and doorpost" up beside God's "threshold and doorpost" in our modern day times. THE CHRISTIAN COVENANT THE "E-SCAPEGOAT COVENANT"
AND JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES AS MODERN DAY "ISRAEL"
As we recall, the New Covenant was established with Jesus’ first century disciples, just like most today believe. But what most believers don't know, is that Jesus came back for these particular disciples in 70 C.E. and took them to heaven.

Therefore, if Jesus came back for his anointed first century followers in 70 C.E. and took them to heaven, thus "abandoning" all UNFAITHFUL first century Christians to their own wicked devices, then this automatically means, the Christian Covenant itself, after 70 C.E. then LAY DORMANT for many, many years, yes up till 1931. (Matthew 24:40, 41) Up till that time, between 70 C.E. and 1931, then, no nation of people was willing to take upon themselves the Name of God and the responsibility that came with carrying that Divine Name upon themselves, as did Jehovah's Witnesses in that momentous year. No one was willing. This would be in following the example set by ancient Israel before them. (Numbers 6:27) Therefore, it was in that year, 1931 when Jehovah's Witnesses actually started the DIVINE NAME MOVEMENT, among religions. No one had done this before them. They were the first to do this, ON AN INTERNATIONAL SCALE. Thus, Jehovah's Witnesses became Spiritual "Israel" of our modern times, in 1931, by way of the blood of Jesus. Yes, in that year, Jesus Christ became mediator between Israel [or Jehovah's Witnesses] and Jehovah God. Jehovah Witnesses then, became part of the Christian Law Covenant" Arrangement. -- See The “Report” Book for details.
Therefore, Jehovah's Witnesses have continued in that same Covenant Arrangement from 1931 up till recently, when they as a nation and people, violated that Covenant by way of the hidden United Nations / Governing Body NGO Affair, in 1991. In other words, the leaders of the nation brought "community guilt" upon the entire nation, because of unfaithfulness in this instance. (See Leviticus 4:3.) Not to mention, the many other sins committed by the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses previously which, no doubt, have damaged the Jehovah's Witnesses' relationship with God Almighty. In this way, the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses have thereby "put their doorpost" and their "threshold" up "beside" God Almighty's "doorpost" and "threshold." For this, they must be "exterminated in God's Anger," completely. -- Ezekiel 43:7-9
Because of this situation, the nation of modern day "Israel" became “APOSTATE” before God, with this unique situation producing the actual NEED … the need for Another Covenant Arrangement, besides the one that Jesus mediated with them. (Isaiah 10:6) This new covenant arrangement (Scapegoat) then became necessary... in God's eyes. -- See The “Report” Book for details.
"But, what covenant arrangement, if any, could be used AFTER Jehovah's Witnesses had fully violated and broken the Christian one?" one might ask.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to find out what arrangement we are talking about, we have to go back to the Mosaic Law to see how this would work, and come to understand God's Great Wisdom in handling this affair...His Great Foresight, in making preparation for such a great deliverance, and the fulfillment of His Original Word and Promise at Genesis 3:15.
Therefore, when we examine the book of Revelation, we notice at Revelation 15:3 it speaks of the "Song of Moses," and the "Song of the Lamb" also being sung. These two "Songs" are ones being sung by faithful individuals of our modern day time, since it plainly says the ones singing, have "come off victorious from the wild beast and from its image and from the number of its name standing by the glassy sea, having harps of God." -- Revelation 15:2
Indeed, the "Song of Moses" does take us back to the Mosaic Law Covenant , wherein many of its principles incredibly point forward to a dual "messiah" concept to be revealed, in the “last days.” We believe, the “Scapegoat” Covenant itself, is firmly established by bible principles laid down in Leviticus 14th and Leviticus 16th chapters, respectively.
Then too, Revelation 5:8-10 speaks of this new arrangement as being a "New Song," the "Song of the Lamb," as also mentioned in Revelation 14:3. All of this means this "New Song," thus becomes the “means by which they [Israel] are saved” by way of a "New" Covenant Arrangement from God, if accepted by this small “remnant” of "Israel," [repentant Jehovah’s Witnesses] during the "last days" of this system of things. -- Acts 3:19; Acts 28:28
Of course, we have to remember this "New" Covenant Arrangement, the E-scapegoat Covenant Arrangement that we speak of, could only be possible and could only itself become inaugurated, and put into operation by the unique, Godly application of the sin-atoning value of the precious blood of Jesus. Therefore, it is the special application of the blood of Jesus, that truly validates the "New" E-scapegoat Covenantal Arrangement, by which all things are then, made possible. (Matthew 19:26) Additionally, we are also reminded too, that in keeping with His Stated Word as revealed in the Mosaic Law, it was only through Jehovah's Tremendous Divine Wisdom and Grand Foresight on all matters, that has made such an UNKNOWN, UNHEARD OF arrangement possible today. (Isaiah 52:15) Especially when we consider Jehovah had all of this in mind FROM THE BEGINNING, in the Garden of Eden, per Gen. 3:15. Incredible! Therefore, this clearly shows (a) the mystery of God would persist until the last days, according to His Will. And, (b) that Jehovah God, is "WISE ALONE," with that fact amply demonstrated for all to see, at this time, in the “last days” of this system of things. (Romans 16:27) Therefore, in keeping with His Great Wisdom and Amazing Foresight into all matters, Jehovah chose from among Jehovah's Witnesses or modern day "Israel," one lone human, one baptized, anointed brother from among their number, for this task, knowing within Himself exactly how He purposed to use such a human for His Divine Will. Jehovah chose to reveal his Great "Beauty" [or completely Symmetrical Divine Truth Message] as promised in the “Servant” Prophecy at Isaiah 49:3. Amazing!
Therefore this magnificent Choice within His Divinely Revealed Purpose amply demonstrates the truthfulness, veracity and wisdom of God's Original Promise at Genesis 3:15, made in the Garden of Eden, when He spoke to those 3 rebels who had disobeyed Him and thought that they had somehow, vitiated or thwarted His Original Divine Purpose. Of course, we know that could not be. It’s simply not possible for such a thing to happen. -- Proverbs 21:30
Hence, we today can say the great "mystery of God," that has persisted until now, then must be revealed in our day. Yes, the "finished mystery" of our time as Revelation 10:7 says, must prove to be an imperfect, descendant of "Eve," the woman, which was foretold to bring forth a righteous "Seed" for God. He becomes the "Chosen One" that was "promised" to come from the sinful "woman" [Eve], and thru the sin-atoning blood of Jesus, this one would finally become God's “Chosen One” to rescue "Israel" from apostasy, as His "Servant," as God's Scapegoat Sacrifice. -- Leviticus 16:10, 20; Isaiah 42:1-9; Isaiah 49:1-9
Surely, as God's "Anointed One," or "Christ," of our modern age, he was appropriately "anointed" by God Himself, while within the Jehovah's Witnesses Organization, and later appropriately "sent out into the wilderness" BEFORE the great UN/NGO Sin was committed, to finally, save the nation from apostasy. (Isaiah 49:5, 6) In this capacity, he is then used as an "E-scapegoat" in that he is the first to successfully “ESCAPE" from the Organization of Jehovah's Witnesses, as an "ANOINTED" footstep follower of Jesus Christ, and maintain his original “Christian” Covenant with God, that is, the original one accepted in 1931, the one that Jesus mediates. In this capacity, God uses him as a "justified" or "declared righteous," guiltless, symbolic "lamb" to effect salvation for the modern-day nation of Israel, Jehovah's Witnesses, a nation who has now fully apostatized from God, and totally gotten away from the "Christian Law" that was given them, in 1931. -- Matthew 12:7; Acts 13:38, 39; Romans 5:18

The "Report" Book (written 1994) on page 201, made the following prediction:
“...And so, the Watchtower magazine under the present-day Governing Body arrangement, is placed on the same level, given parity and equal status, with God’s Word. Jehovah’s Witnesses are subtly encouraged to view it as such. With the Governing Body controlling the contents of the Watchtower magazine, one needs no imagination to see how this special "tool" could be easily used to capture and manipulate the "minds and hearts of sincere persons" earth-wide and eventually exact unquestioned obedience, as would a "god." -- See 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4.
Thus, we see the stage set for this Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses, since the decision was made to empower this special “body of elders” on December 4th, 1975 and which became fully operational January 1st, 1976, to become “a god” or the “Man of Lawlessness” spoken of at 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12 which wickedly dominates God’s Name People, mystery “Israel.” Yes, and this would be according to the “operation” of Satan or the “working within” the organization by Satan. Based upon the Jewish Calendar, on this very day in fact, September 29th of 2010 (the date this blog was composed) as recognized by the Jewish nation, yes exactly 79 years ago, a very, very significant spiritual event occurred for God's Name People ... yes, back in October of the year 1931!
Yes, the Jewish nation, indeed does officially recognize this particular day as being the seventh (7th) day of the special celebration called: The Festival of Booths. Perhaps you remember reading about it in the bible at Leviticus 23:33-43. If so, you may remember on one special day of the Grand Celebration itself (The Festival of Booths) the Israelite nation would recognize the day called the "Great Day," or what's called "The Great Hosanna." It is believed in history, that on that very same night, the nation of Babylon, the World Power of Babylon was toppled or proverbially "Fell" (anti-typically shown at Revelation 18:4), as Captors of Israel, God's Name People (to the Medes & Persians) ... yes, said to be upon this same night! Also, we remember it was on this very same day, the "Great Hosanna" many centuries ago that Jesus himself no doubt uttered these most famous words,
"...out from his inmost part streams of living water will flow." (John 7:37, 38 New World Translation)
Then too, in our modern times, on the "Great Hosanna" too, several momentous things have happened. To get insight into such fantastic biblical events, let's pay close attention to the following information. Enjoy!
In the Watchtower Society's publication Jehovah's Witnesses -- Proclaimers of God's Kingdom pages 152-153, the following comments were made:
"Starting with the Watchtower magazine of January 1, 1926, the principal article featured the challenging question: 'Who Will Honor Jehovah?' During the next five years (from 1926-1931), The Watchtower discussed some portion of Isaiah 43:10-12 in some 46 separate issues and each time made application of it to true Christians."

The publication continues,
"In 1929 where it was pointed out that the outstanding issue facing all intelligent creation involves the honoring of Jehovah's name. And in connection with the responsibility that Jehovah's servants have regarding this, Isaiah 43:10-12 repeatedly came up for consideration. Thus the facts show that as result of study of the Bible, attention was repeatedly being drawn to their obligation to be witnesses of Jehovah. Of course, it was not the name of a group that was under consideration but the work that they were to do." -- -- See Watchtower publication Jehovah's Witnesses -- Proclaimers of God's Kingdom pages 152-153
Yes, this was to be a very, very special work, spearheaded by Jehovah's Witnesses. To be sure, it was this very special "work" of Declaring God's Name to all the nations, that distinguished this people for God's Name. A weighty responsibility, indeed.
So, as history tells us, in the year of 1931, we find the name of "Jehovah" itself was to be resolutely adopted by a large assembly of "International Bible Students," led by the current President of that organization of Bible Students, in Columbus, Ohio. Later in that same year, we also notice that a particular issue of the Watchtower magazine, the October 15th issue, in iconoclastic fashion, removed the symbol of the “cross” from the front cover of it for the first time. -- See 1975 Yearbook page 148, par. # 3.
And so, we can clearly see that the nation of Jehovah’s Witnesses had indeed, entered a “covenant” or contractual arrangement with God to carry His personal Name upon themselves. (See Numbers 6:27, Deut. 28:10, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Jeremiah 25:29, Daniel 9:19, Acts 15:14, Hebrews 6:10, and Revelation 14:1.) They had sworn their allegiance and obedience to this same God, the God of Jacob, by way of a public declaration and resolution. They had now taken upon themselves the weighty responsibility that came with becoming, modern day “Israel,” of our times. And of course, Jehovah would himself be obligated now, to hold them to this sworn oath of responsibility. Yes, they would now have to really “live up” to that Great Name of God Almighty.
This is highlighted for us in the publication, Jehovah’s Witnesses – Proclaimers of God’s Kingdom, pg. 156, paragraph # 2 which says:
“THAT, having been bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Redeemer, justified and begotten by Jehovah God and called to his kingdom, we unhesitatingly declare our entire allegiance and devotion to Jehovah God and his kingdom; that we are servants of Jehovah God commissioned to do a work in his name, and, in obedience to his commandment, to deliver the testimony of Jesus Christ, and to make known to the people that Jehovah is the true and Almighty God; therefore we joyfully embrace and take the name which the mouth of the Lord God has named, and we desire to be known as and called by the name, to wit, Jehovah’s Witnesses. – Isaiah 43:10-12”

After the resolution was adopted to be called or named "Jehovah's Witnesses" as a spiritual nation in July of 1931, it still took some time for all of Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide to get the same information, and resolutely "adopt" it as written, since they were scattered in many different parts of the earth.
Here is a quote from a publication printed by the Watchtower Society that tells exactly how the "historic" adoption was carried out to an earth wide family of Jehovah’s Witnesses scattered throughout the earth.
"Needless to say, this resolution was joyously acclaimed by all present [original convention led by Judge Rutherford], and, in the weeks that followed, at fifty extension conventions in all parts of the earth, Jehovah's people met to add their joyful voices in the embracing of this remarkable NEW NAME." -- See Jehovah's Witnesses In The Divine Purpose page 126, par. #1.
So reasonably, it took some time for all of this to be accomplished throughout the earth, on a global scale.
In accepting the above "resolution", we must remember it is the singular act of "declaring" God's Holy Name to others and/or telling it to others, yes, that brings on the real...real responsibility before God Almighty. -- See Psalms 50:16.

Hence, after adopting this new name and designation for themselves, Jehovah’s Witnesses must now continually be found "Living Up to the Name," as one of the older "Kingdom Songs" sung by all Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide says.
Jehovah's Witness began doing this, "boasting in the Name" of God, and "declaring the Name" of God, by way of the publication called, The Kingdom The Hope of the World, which was released in October 1931. Also, in this publication, contained the original "resolution" about the "new" name Jehovah's Witnesses had adopted worldwide. They had now began, to "Preach The Name" of God to others. -- Psalms 105:1-3; 2 Tim. 2:19
Here is what the Watchtower Society had to say about the actual beginning of their exercising this rare privilege of "Declaring the Name" of God as a united spiritual nation of people, using this new release called The Kingdom The Hope of the World throughout the earth. -- Genesis 12:8; Exodus 33:19; 34:5
"In order that the leaders of the world might be duly notified of this proper designation for Jehovah's people this resolution and the text of Brother Rutherford's convention address were published in the booklet 'The Kingdom The Hope of the World.' Included was another resolution adopted at the convention, again indicting Christendom for her apostasy and for treating Jehovah's counsel with contempt, and proclaiming: "The hope of the world is God's kingdom, and there is no other hope." During October of that year a campaign was conducted by the congregations to visit every clergyman, politician and big businessman in their territories with this booklet. In just the United States and Canada 132,066 booklets were put out in this way. Within the next few months this booklet reached the homes of FIVE MILLION others in all parts of the earth." -- See Jehovah's Witnesses In The Divine Purpose, page 126 paragraph #2.
Jehovah's Witnesses began their historic "Preaching" and "Declaring" of God's Sacred Name in October 1931 ... Exactly 70 Years before the date of October 8th, 2001, exactly when the United Nations NGO Governing Body Liaison was revealed to the public ... 70 Years of Discipline & Training ... 70 Years of holding a "sacred trust", being "called by God's Name" and possessing the "framework of the knowledge of the truth." The sacred trust that serves to "sanctify" them, as a consecrated nation to do God's Will. -- See Numbers 6:27; Romans 2:20; John 17:17.
Thus, Jehovah's Witnesses, in October 1931, became...the spiritual nation of "Israel" of Bible Prophecy. A people who would have to endure severe discipline for open rebellion & disobedience to God...being chased off their land, their spiritual "inheritance." A people who would have to be changed spiritually, from a "land of Decoration" which falls off into "apostasy," bible prophecy indicates, to finally a "Mountain of Decoration," a spiritually elevated plateau. A people who, after severe discipline from God, would be granted the privilege of "dwelling in the center [navel] of the earth." -- Daniel 8:13; 11:32, 41, 45; Isaiah 30:26; Jeremiah 23:19, 20; Micah 4:6,7; Ezekiel 37:23; 38:8-12
Perhaps, some scoff at the above. They wish to mitigate the overwhelming significance of Jehovah's People, attaching themselves to that Most Divine Name. Nevertheless, no matter what we think of this situation, still we have to know, Divine "judgment" is coming upon any who would dare PROFANE God’s Great Name. Yes, any who would dare to profane that Name from among those 7 million people, who actually carry that Divine Name upon themselves present-day, yes those who have even "declared" that Great Name to the world...Since October 1931...for the next 70 Years...till October 2001.
But again, something more, something very significant has occurred, since October 2001. Something that we may not have given any consideration to before. What was it?
Well, simply put, it has been 70 years of "Discipline"from God's viewpoint, in carrying that Name for "Israel" [Jehovah’s Witnesses]. And that's why, we can speak of 70 actual years of "discipline" [instruction] have passed for God’s Name People, at the hands of wicked "Babylon The Great" [Watchtower Society], as of October 2001, according to His counting.
And to the exact month, to the exact day even, yes a Great Spiritual "Liberation" has taken place. Yes, an even Greater Liberation, spiritual one, has indeed taken place by the Power of Almighty God. Yes, one that is comparable to the actual "escape" pathway made by God, as of 539 bce for ancient Israel, when Babylon the world power lost its real power and control OVER God's Name People of that time. This Great Liberation effected by Jehovah Himself, that is today indeed comparable to that "Great Fall" of Ancient Babylon, as in ONE NIGHT. Quickly, done...all in one lone October night, historians tell us...strangely enough. Yes, the foretold "fall" of ancient times of Ancient Babylon, is now indeed quite comparable to something that has occurred for us today...for all Jehovah's Witnesses, world wide. -- Revelation 14:8; Revelation 18:2-4
Jehovah God, Himself, has effected, caused a Great "Salvation" to take place on ONE PARTICULAR DAY for Jehovah's Witnesses as a people. We can say this, because on a special "day" in the month of October 2001 -- Jehovah Acted! He acted in behalf of His Own Name People, He acted to "SAVE" His Name People. Yes, it can be proven on that particular day, the exact day the nation of Israel recognizes and celebrates as “The Great Hosanna”, the Great Day of Deliverance and Redemption and “Salvation” for Israel -- God acted! Yes, the "Great Day of Salvation” from our God, Jehovah.
Psalms 118:24, 25 says of this day,
"This is the day that Jehovah has made; We will be joyful and rejoice in it. Ah, now, Jehovah, do save, please! Ah, now, Jehovah, do grant success, please!"
Again, the “Great Day” of Jehovah's Salvation or the “Great Hosanna,” as the nation of Israel used to celebrate, it was at that EXACT time, when Jehovah God moved to expose those dastardly villains of the Governing Body, those unrepentant, NGO supporters of the United Nations for some 10 years previous! Yes, these vile spiritual rebels against Him, were exposed at that time. Yes, Almighty Jehovah God exposed them Monday, October 8th, 2001, exactly 70 years after their getting their start in carrying His Great Name upon themselves in October of 1931. It was that Monday, that the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses put in their request to the United Nations Organization, by way of fax correspondence, to remove their names from the roles of NGO supporters for the United Nations Organization.
So it was on that particular day, that Great Day, that Jehovah God Himself exposed them as being spiritual "traitors" toward Him. God exposed them as "traitors" like Judas Iscariot, the one called the "son of destruction," the prototype for our modern-day "man of lawlessness" of our day. (2 Thessalonians 2:3) It was on that "Great Day", that Almighty God Jehovah, "SAVED" His Name People. Yes, Jehovah exposed them (thus making escape from "Babylon" possible) for all mankind to see, during the week of the 7-Day Celebration of the "festival of booths." Thus, in this unique way, yes ... "BABYLON THE GREAT" FELL, in fulfillment of Bible prophecy! Praise Jah! Now, the cry could go forth, "Get out of her, my people [Israel]." -- Revelation 18:2, 4
And as prophesied, Jehovah again "SAVED" His people by this Great Act of His, and exposed these "criminals", in timely fashion on the "Great Hosanna", the last day of that famous celebration, in the year of 2001. Yes, the "prophets" did indicate that God would do this. They indicate that God "Saves" His People, in the most unique way. And we are "witnesses" that He has done just that! -- See Hosea 1:7; Zechariah 12:7.
Now, we must advise all of modern-day "Israel," Jehovah's Witnesses, to certainly think about that!
Yes, the very ones, the spiritual "nation" that printed a special publication and distributed it to the world back in October 1931, embracing the Divine Name, a people who agreed to be a "people for His Name," and more importantly, a people who agreed to "Declare the Name" to the nations...starting back in October 1931. Exactly 70 years from October 2001, exactly when the Governing Body/United Nations NGO Liaison was first exposed. At first glance, the latest Jehovah’s Witness Governing Body update seems benign, even uplifting. Sam Herd opens with a friendly “Welcome” and proceeds to share convention statistics, news about a museum opening, and a brief Bible-based exhortation. To an insider, this is spiritual nourishment—proof that Jehovah’s organization is thriving, united, and divinely guided. But for anyone willing to step back and take a critical look, this transcript is less a piece of encouragement than a window into how the Governing Body continually reinforces its authority. -- Robin Jackson

Former Jehovah's Witness elder/bethelite is discussing his own personal experience about what he knows about the practices and policies of the Watchtower, Bible & Tract Society.
This video discusses the vow of poverty and how it affects those in full-time service and the impact it has for many individuals that live in areas and what happens when they do not pay into social security.
Is there anything wrong with taking a vow of poverty? No! However, the Watchtower, Bible & Tract Society is guilty of hypocrisy for condemning other religious denominations for instituting such an arrangement. Why? Because when they discovered they could take certain tax breaks for doing the same thing, they decided to set up their own vow of poverty system - Worldwide Order of Special Full-Time Servants of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Unfortunately, such vows did not benefit the Bethelites and other individuals in full-time service. In fact, when it was convenient, the Watchtower dismissed thousands of Bethelites from their assignments. Many of them were released after serving upwards of 30+ years at Bethel.
One couple was so excited about being accepted to Bethel and after selling their home, donated the money from the sale of their home to the Watchtower Society. Sadly, they were part of the massive layoff of 1,000+ Bethelites.

These "sinful" ones then, are leavened "loaves" that are "waved" before Jehovah the Almighty, for Covenantal Acceptance, in this instance. The "loaves" then, picture repentant "Israel," or Israelites formerly under the Mosaic Law Covenant + new converts from the "nations" or "Gentiles" [Hebrew: Goiim or Greek: Ethnos] to makeup the New REPLACEMENT "Israel" of God, a chosen "people for His Name," as Acts 15:14 & 17 points out. (See also Matthew 21:43.) It would be this combination of two (2) distinct peoples/nations [Greek: Ethnos] that would now makeup God's Name People, led by those of the natural nation of "Israel," those taught directly by Jesus, the apostles taken from the Jewish nation. These are the ones of the nation of Ancient "Israel" that was willing to heed Jesus' warning for this people, and were willing to "repent" to enjoy "seasons of refreshing" from the very face of Jehovah. (Acts 3:19) Therefore with Jesus, they became this first "lamb" and the first "loaf" which was "waved," that was accepted at Pentecost of the first century, by God Almighty Jehovah.
