GENERATIONS THAT "OVERLAP" -- EXODUS 1:6 REVIEWED!

As you recall, the key scripture the WTBTS/Governing Body used in a feeble attempt to support the new "overlapping" generations teaching (in the April 15th, 2010 Watchtower magazine) is Exodus 1:6.

Well, look what "trebor" over at JW.Net found out about that particular "proof text" being used to substantiate the new "overlapping" Generation teaching. He said:

----------------------------------------snip from JWNet-----------------------

It was not too long ago, another publication referencing the same word "generation" also used the highlighted scripture in Exodus to explain the 'correct' understanding. The Insight on the Scriptures book Volume 1, page 917 makes this statement:

"A generation commonly refers to all persons who were born about the same time. (Exodus 1:6)"

However, now the Watchtower Society states according to the April 15th, 2010, Watchtower:

"It usually refers to people of varying ages whose livesoverlap during a particular time period; it is not excessively long; and it has an end. (Exodus 1:6)"

Ask your [JW] hubby, which one is it?

--------------------end of quote---------------------------

So, in the Insight On The Scriptures publication, Exodus 1:6 is explained to mean this, but in the new April 15th, 2010 Watchtower magazine the verse means the EXACT OPPOSITE thing.

Wow!!! Can you believe this???

Without a doubt, the above is concrete, absolute proof of lunacy on the part of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witness, as many, many of the Jehovah's Witnesses will certainly be able to see this.

This type of blunder in bible scholarship is blatant, obvious insanity at best ... and it is right there in the publications for all to see, and proves without a doubt, Jehovah God has struck the wicked leadership of the Jehovah's Witnesses, God's Name People, with "BEWILDERMENT" and outright "MADNESS." -- Zechariah 12:4

Wow!!!
