You Will Know The Truth ... The Truth Will Set You Free!

Upon close examination, God's Holy Word is indeed quite laden, yes filled with valuable guidelines for christian life, that serve the footstep follower of Christ quite well, if one would simply pay heed and learn from the Grand Teacher and "Holy One of Israel" Himself, Jehovah The Almighty. -- See Isaiah 48:17, 18. New World Translation

One such area of concern I believe, where Jehovah teaches us to "benefit ourselves" (Isaiah 48:17 NWT) and area where we should "pay attention," (Isaiah 48:18 NWT) would be the inspired counsel of Paul to put on the "Armor of God," as described at Ephesians 6:11-17.

Following from the New Living Translation, Paul said:

11 Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the Devil. 12 For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms. 13 Use every piece of God's armor to resist the enemy in the time of evil, so that after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14 Stand your ground, putting on the STURDY BELT OF TRUTH and the body armor of God's righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. 16 In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan. 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. -- Ephesians 6:11-17

Above, Paul lists 6 items (maybe 7 depending upon your personal viewpoint) that provide complete protection against "evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world...against mighty powers of darkness who RULE THIS WORLD...against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms." Paul recommends to put "every piece of God's Armor" on ... to be able to completely "resist" the wicked "rulers of this world," Satan and the demons.

Paul recommends for the christian to have:

1) The Belt of Truth

2) The Body Armor of God's Righteousness

3) Shoes of Peace, which comes from the Good News of God

4) The Shield of Faith

5) The Helmet of Salvation

6) The "Sword of the Spirit" ... God's Word

7) possibly....arm yourself with prayer...for constant heavenly guidance & direction (see Ephesians 6:18 )

On this list above, we notice the very first piece of armor shown is "Truth" ... which stabilizes the believer. It gives the believer a "sturdy" stance before the real enemies, "wicked spirit forces in heavenly places." (NWT)

So then, we know ... Bible Truth is a must for any believer in our modern day times. It is absolutely, essential to our having the complete suit of "armor" from God. No question!

Which brings us to another key point about Bible Truth ... one that we today, should surely, pay note of. And that is this: God's Word recommends that we "love" or have "love" for the truth, too. Yes, we should love truth. For example, let's look at the following point made again by Paul, when he speaks of the nefarious rise of the "Man of Lawlessness" [MOL] who takes delight in MISLEADING believers away from Godly Truth, in the "Last Days." The Holy Prophecy says for our benefit:

(2 Thess. 2:10-12) and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to LOVE THE TRUTH and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. -- New International Version

The verse above tells us, emphatically, how Jehovah views those who take the "Truth," when presented to them, lightly...ohhhhhhhhhh yes, it does. There is no mystery here, about how Jehovah feels about those who would REFUSE to put on this Godly Armor of Truth...ohhhh no.

Yes, the prophecy recommends, we should "love the truth." Yes, love the truth. It also shows, this Godly "Truth," that is made available for believers today, is yes, able to "save" us also. And further it states, that if we are not careful, if we are consistently resistant to this Godly Truth, but would prefer to hear something, maybe different, more pleasing to our ears, something that runs counter to Godly Truth, well, then...we can be CONDEMNED for taking pleasure in things that are "wicked," where God says we "delight" in such things, instead of valuing Godly Truth. The verse clearly tells us, Jehovah God the Almighty, will definitely, definitely take DIRECT ACTION upon such ones, yes as righteous recompense for all such wicked reasonings. Yes, Jehovah God, through his righteous Son Jesus Christ, will fully "recompense each one according to his behavior," as promised. (Matthew 16:27 NWT) We can be sure of that. The prophecy states: Jehovah is going to "send forth" ... "STRONG DELUSIONS" [or "operation of error" NWT] upon these ones who are calloused against the truth, so much so ... that they will "BELIEVE THE LIE"!!! (NWT) And everyone in the world will be able to see it!

To be sure, Paul spoke of such ones, in a future time:

"However, the inspired utterance says definitely that in later periods of time some will fall away from the faith paying attention to misleading inspired utterances and teachings of demons." -- 1 Timothy 4:1 New World Translation

Did you notice, Paul says this will come...in "Later periods of time," ... like in our day for instance??? Yes, Paul said they would "FALL AWAY FROM THE FAITH," as in the True Religion, for instance???

In the "Last Days," some will "fall away from the faith," and start to pay attention to "demonic teachings," ... in the "Last Days," ... they will begin to "believe the lie," because, "strong delusions" will be upon them, for relishing, delighting in "wickedness", out and out "unrighteousness."

Further Paul predicts:

"For there will be a period of time when they will NOT put up with the healthful teaching, but in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their EARS TICKLED; and they will turn their ears AWAY FROM THE TRUTH, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories." -- 2 Timothy 4:3, 4 New World Translation

Is it any wonder, Paul says of such like ones of the first century, individuals who continually "resist the truth" like "Jannes and Jambres" (2 Timothy 3:8 )... he said:

"Do your utmost to present yourself approved to God, a workman with nothing to be ashamed of, HANDLING THE WORD OF TRUTH ARIGHT [or 'rightly dividing the word of truth' KJV]. -- 2 Timothy 2:15 New World Translation

You know, even Jesus alluded to such a day, when "truth" would be under attack, when he said:

"...many will be stumbled ..." in the Last Day...Why??? (See Matthew 24:10 NWT.)
NWT
My, my, my ... why did Jesus say, they would be "stumbled," ... where have we heard that expression before??? ... Stumbled...

Is it possible, that in the "Last Days," many will be "STUMBLED..." out of the congregation of God ... yes, possibly because of the lack of Divine "Truth" because of the lack of "Truth" being dispensed to the believers....What??? ... would that be why... soooooo many today in the JW Organization are quite concerned about certain teachings going on in the christian congregation today, the "Temple of THE GOD," Where the alledged "Man of Lawlessness" [MOL] Presides, by way of prophecy, shamelessly...shamelessly, AS GOD??? -- Ezekiel 43:8; 2nd Thess. 2:2, 3 New World Translation

Oh yes, we see people are constantly complaining about, things going on, in the christian congregation today, the things written in print in the publications, yes, as we see this...endless complaints on the net??? :x

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Anyway ... real food for thought, I'd say.
